Hotel vicino a Barn Pool Beach - Torpoint

“Clean room, helpful staff, appropriate amenities. Parking was a little issue but this was outside of the staff’s control and they provided appropriate alternative parking as our initial space was taken by a member of the public”

“Beautiful location and building.”

“Clean and comfortable guest house, very close to the promenade on the sea, 15 min walk to city center. Nice guests”

“Very clean and tidy. Nice people. Very good breakfast. Good position.”

“Il nostro soggiorno al Moxy è stato gradevole e rilassante, specie per la nostra cagnolina che era con noi. La colazione è continentale e abbondante, la stanza moderna e confortevole. Gli sono spazi verdi all'esterno e l'hotel si trova ad una distanza a piedi ragionevole dal centro e dal lungomare. Sicuramente torneremo.”

“Camera grande e pulita. Bagno migliorabile. Silenzioso. Buona colazione, anche preparata sul momento. Personale gentile.”

“Beautiful hotel”

“The apartment was really lovely and as described and perfect for our birthday celebration. Unfortunately, when we arrived there was a lot of broken glass all over the balcony which we didn’t realise until we stepped on it barefoot. We couldn’t find the outside bins as they were not where described. The access to the property in the evening was stressful as it is located in a very busy bar area which had people queued up to get. Security wouldn’t let us in to get to the apartment and we had to...

“Very nice Breakfast and good service.”

“Cannot fault the Halfway House Pub. Stayed here for 4 nights..Friendly welcome shown our room by Mike. All staff friendly and helpful. Room was excellent spotless and uensuite was great. Breakfast was very good. Ate here twice in the evening and food was excellent. Great evening spent listening to the Sea Shanty choir. Dog friendly.. No car park but public car park £5 for 24 hours. Will definitely be staying again. Thanks to all staff at the Halfway House.”

“bel posto, pulito, ottima esposizione sulla baia denominata sound,e vicino al centro città.unico inconveniente una lieve incomprensione per avere i codici di accesso alla struttura.”

“My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The environment around the hotel did not feel pleasant, with many homeless people around the area. I understand that homelessness is a serious issue, but as a paying hotel guest, I expected the surroundings and overall atmosphere of the hotel to feel more welcoming and secure. The service was also very poor. The following morning, my wife and I went for breakfast and there was nobody available to assist us for more than five minutes....

“No one came to clean/empty bins etc for the length of our stay. It was very noisy. Constant doors banging in the middle of the night. Some drunk person knocking on the door after 9.30 pm. Reception staff were fine, but had to request clean towels/extra toilet paper.”

“Excellent location for Horle or Barbican”

“Too difficult to deal with, needed to upload ID before the stay and kept sending me a link that I couldn’t click on. Right at the last minute offered to text me the link so I could copy it, was too late by then. I decided to stay somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend.”
