“This is the second stay for my family at Brookside. What we enjoy most is having access to 370+ acres which includes fish ponds and paths for meandering. There's a nearby stream and waterfall to explore, plus easy access to the D&L trail for walking or biking. Also, Hickory Run State Park is close by for hiking. Overall, a very relaxing place to escape!”

“This property was exactly what we were looking for! We were going to a concert in Jim Thorpe and doing some other activities in the area. The property has plenty of room to do anything. We were able to put the pack and play for the baby in the bedroom and still have plenty of room for everything else. I would only say one negative thing, and it's not even negative. There is a large bump in the driveway, meant for control rainwater runoff, and if you have a smaller car like we did, you can't go...

It was quiet and clean and they included a nice welcome basket along with some toiletries in case you forgot something. We had a little trouble with the Internet at first but the owner quickly took care of it. They were very communicative and apologetic. “Property was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the seclusion that the cabin provided! It was a perfect, peaceful setting with everything we needed to feel at home. Jason and his family were very welcoming and accessible if we had a question. Getting to see their horses and emus up close was such a delight! Definitely recommend this as a great glamping experience! Everything was as pictured.”
