“Staying at The Grand on MacFie allows immersing yourself in exceptional comfort for a reasonable price. When return to Devonport, will stay in The Grand as it was the high point of our lodging during our trip to Tasmania.
Breakfasts are a delight, a five-star dining experience.
It is convenient to the ferry terminal and a short walk to shopping and restaurants. Cradle Mountain and Narawntapu National Park are easily visited on a day trip.

“We stayed in the Ironstone room, which was large, homely and had a great view of Cradle Mountain. It was easy to check in and very friendly staff. We booked the tomahawk steak dinner and it did not disappoint! The light breakfast consists of Muesli and yoghurt which was also a nice start to the day. We would highly recommend staying here and wish we had longer!”
