New England Lake House Vacation

Questa casa sul lungolago di quattro stagioni è perfetta per scappare. Grande ponte che si affaccia sul lago, amaca per rilassarsi e grande molo con pesca e pedalò. Acqua di sorgente con acqua cristallina. Perfetto per la pesca (pieno di spigola), nuoto, pedalò o semplicemente sedersi sul ponte e godersi le splendide viste. Questo lago non ha accesso pubblico - le uniche persone sul lago possiedono case sul lago. Il famoso antico alleato del New Hampshire si trova a sole 3 miglia di distanza. La spiaggia di Hampton è a soli 20 minuti in auto. Downtown Boston è una gita di un giorno facile (1,5 ore). Vicino alla montagna bianca ea pochi minuti dalle correnti di trota. TV satellitare, WiFi ad alta velocità, aria condizionata, lavatrice / asciugatrice, stufa a legna, pozzo del fuoco, impianto stereo sul ponte, mirtilli, lamponi e cespugli di more. Una camera da letto con letto matrimoniale, una con due letti singoli, divano letto, seminterrato ha un gemello e un futon. Cortile di buon livello per lanciare un pallone da calcio o giocare a un brutto guanto. Il fogliame autunnale è assolutamente mozzafiato. Molto da fare anche in inverno: pesca sul ghiaccio, sci, hockey su ghiaccio, motoslitta nelle vicinanze.

Tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno è incluso: pentole, padelle, lenzuola, asciugamani, ecc. La casa viene pulita professionalmente e la biancheria viene fatta tra ogni ospite.

We had a wonderful time. We spent all our time fishing, sitting on the deck, and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. For us, this week was about getting away from it all and just relaxing and this was the perfect spot for that! The house was just enough for our needs, it was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. As an added bonus, the owner was very nice and easy to contact and the neighbors were so sweet and friendly! We really didn't want to leave and hope to go back again someday!

The Lake is fantastic!!! Water is clear and we swam almost everyday. My husband (the fisherman) caught a 3-1/2 pound bass off the dock. There's plenty of outdoor floats plus kayaks and a v hull boat for fishing. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was sufficient. (It's really only a one person kitchen) Matt was great to work with, and the neighbors were so friendly and personable they should be included in the amenities! Thanks for great time.

The house was great, super clean and had tons of amenities. It was so nice having kayaks right there to use. The neighbors were so friendly. Our stay was during some very hot days and the temperature inside was perfect! The pond water was so warm and great to swim in. Overall a wonderful stay!

Nice time

It was good staying here. We are from Utah and traveled to be with family for a 90th birthday. We had a slight issue when we got there with a paint stain on our sheet. I texted the host they responded quickly and had plenty of sheets underneath we were able to switch it out with. Overall really happy with our experience.

Lovely stay! Beautiful setting and grat cottage.

We stayed for a week and had a lovely time. Matt (the host) was so helpful and responsive. The cottage is a wonderful place, right on the water, great deck for lounging, grassy lawns, nice dock, and firepit for evening conversation, super easy access in to the lake for all ages. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets. We loved staying here and hope to be back next year.

A little gem

Great little cottage on a lake. Kind of a busy road made getting in and out a challenge but with some shoulder wiggle room, no problem. Kitchen is adequate but not fancy. Furniture was terrific. Host was receptive to a few problems and provided immediate response and accommodation. Really great little gem on a lake in a centrally location spot.

Great lake for swimming and boating

We loved our stay at the lake house! The lake was beautiful and clean, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the house was well stocked with helpful items, including water toys and extra linens and towels. We also appreciated that it was dog-friendly and did not have a restrictive visitor policy, and we were able to have our pup stay with us, and have some family friends come for a beach day. The entry into the water is from a dock or a concrete boat launch, and it was great to have use of the canoe and fishing boat. There wasn't a sandy beach, but the swimming area is sandy and relatively free of weeds. The house is located on a busy road, but the speed limit is fairly low. Still, you do hear quite a bit of road noise. The lake side of the house is well separated from the road, however, and we never had to worry about our toddler or our dog wandering into the road. The house is also a close drive to Portsmouth, and we took a couple of trips into town on colder days, plus a day trip to the Children's Museum in Dover. It was great to have so many attractions nearby. The Winnie the Pooh trail is nearby and also worth checking out. We would have given our stay a 5/5, but there were a couple of issues. The listing said that there was a fire pit, but for the week that we stayed there it was missing. There were also some maintenance issues - a rickety water faucet and some broken panels on a glass bedroom door. The living room also just had two chairs, so not great for a group.

My summer vacation

Overall we are happy with our stay!! House was very clean. There was an issue with the boat, beyond anyone's control, which was explained. Beautiful pond, great fishing, swimming, kayaking... I would stay again!!!

It took us a few days to get used to some of the working of air conditioners, the lake is very clean and we enjoyed swimming. The master bed very comfortable, Zain the maintenance guy fixed the ac in the living room perfectly. *

Family time at the lake

We really enjoyed spending time here. The house is small, but the main floor has a nice cottage feel. It was clean, bright and comfortable. The basement is a basement, but that is what we expected. We appreciated the window air conditioners during the hottest week of the year! Great neighbors and grocery store near by. We discovered The Lazy Lion restaurant as well! Best thing was being right on the water and able to enjoy the lake everyday.
