“The room was great. Staff is hit or miss - at check in, the front desk agent barely greeted/said two words to us. The public attendant working gave us a nice welcome though! Breakfast was okay - the scrambled eggs were horrible, but I guess you can’t really complain when it’s complimentary. Nice place for a quick 1-night stay.”

“The room was very clean and the hotel was nice overall but honestly, the staff could be trained better on customer service and politeness. There was a glitch with my reservation and rather than assure me that we can get to the bottom of it, I was antagonized and made to feel like Everything was my fault and that I was surely mistaken and did not have a reservation. things got heated unnecessarily and Once they finally figured it out… No apology was even issued…. Based on this, I will not return...

“Place is a dump but clean. I paid a lot of money because everything else was booked. It is the kind of place you meet a lady of the night. Guys were dinking beer outside at 1AM There was a cop sitting in the parking lot at 7am. To get key had to go into a plexiglass room that says “ only one person allowed at at time for “privacy “” BUT the room was clean, looked clean and smelled clean. Literally every other hotel on Long Island was booked Don’t stay here unless you have to”

“The room was very clean and very big. Plenty of towels, pillows and blankets. Staff was very friendly at check-in. The location was very convenient right off the LIE. The area had restaurants, Starbucks, and a Walmart. There was an outdoor patio for grilling and a fire pit. The breakfast in the morning had a good selection -fruit, cereal, baked goods, yogurt and more.”

“Niente a che fare con la vecchia tradizione La Quinta. Struttura vecchia , ha bisogno di molta manutenzione. Con molta sorpresa il secondo giorno camera non rifatta. Alle nostre rimostranze abbiamo scoperto che adesso lo fanno solo su richiesta ”

“We enjoyed a week long stay here. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile on their faces. The continental breakfast was great. I just wish that some days they would make the eggs a different way and not just scrambled. Another thing that I would recommend is free parking to guests! This a dog friendly hotel, which was important for us. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

“Rooms seem newly renovated. Very clean and spacious, TV offers Netflix and such. Only downside is you only get 2 pillows which are so thin.”

“The outside is dilapidated and filthy. I am a single female, and the room was for myself for 2 nights. I went inside to check in. There was no AC at all in the lobby. The carpets smelled of mold and mildew and were coming off the floor. The man at the front desk was very rude to the older couple checking in. When it was my turn, he was bothered by my check-in. I got my room key. We went to the room. As we walked through the hallways, the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke was overwhelming....

“Super friendly staff! Cozy B&B feel. Great location, walk to town or train station! LIRR and Pines super convenient. Amazing authentic chef made-to-order breakfast!! (And fresh artisanal continental breakfast included). Awesome and cozy speakeasy-style lounge, with special entertainment nights (check in advance). Perfect for short or longer stays. And great as a gateway to Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove (5 mins to ferry! shuttle-style service avail). Huge clean room. Washer dryer....

“The inn was great it worked perfect for our family. Having 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths is great for 4 people. The owners had great snacks, coffee, Fiji water. Location was perfect close to shops, restaurants and the Gateway theater. We were here for a show that my daughter was in at the theater. I highly recommend the Belport inn”
