"What many hotels are missing, this hotel has it very right. The concept of a modern, welcoming hotel, with fun atmosphere. Darts, games tables, great meals, huge gym, impressive pool area, large bath towels, amazing breakfast, lovely outdoor seating area. This hotel has it all on offer. Family friendly as well. We will be back "

"Reasonably priced very near station and centre so convenient for my purpose. The concierge asked if I wanted high up or low down. I chose high. I turned out one of two lifts was not working. So as I had only a small rucksack I took the stairs to the 12th floor. This turned out to be an aerobic workout, so I repeated it twice. Definitely recommended. Minor irritation was lack of written information even on the TV welcome screen. I was supposed to go to a web page via a QR code, but I had no signal nor wifi information. I didn't ask but usually this is given on check-in. Otherwise no complaints and if in Reading again "I'll be back"."

"Great one night stay on the way to Southampton prior to a cruise. This Place has the Wow factor in spades. The main building houses a comfortable bar and delightful multi roomed restaurant in an elegant 18th centuary manor house painstakinly moved brick by brick to it's current location."

"Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfy, facilities and bar excellent. Bar food was good. Breakfast was a quite disappointing and I wish I had just gone for a Starbucks coffee and croissant instead as that is inside the hotel."

"They say first impressions count and they so do. The receptionist Katie was welcoming, happy, professional and very helpful with all my questions. The dining room and bar staff all good. The cleaners never get mentioned so here goes, the standard of cleaning throughout the hotel is excellent they must work extremely hard. It is a must visit "
