“4 star Hotel close to the Hospital in Basingstoke. Pool and Gym Service (if u pick up wrong time pool is full of old English ladies). Rooms are ok, nothing special, needs to be renovated. Bar is pricey for the location and hotel general condition. Recommend for quick customer visit at the hospital.”

“Parking was easy and free during our stay. Too few staff with too much to do. We were not offered desert after our main meal and gave up waiting for anyone to check if we would like a desert! Overall the property needs a refresh as if is tired.”

“The hotel is under refurbishment so building work going on. (Not advertised) Queen room booked to be told one wasn’t available because I had booked a standard. Had to contact Expedia who then refunded a small amount for inconvenience. Paid for three course dinner to be told there was only pizza or curry available no starters so had chips instead, did not eat curry as was undercooked chicken. Wrong dessert was then given out. (We were not the only disappointed diners with some asking refunds...
