Bass Lake Cozy Cottage near Yosemite

FREE NON-MOTORIZED RENTALS! The Cozy Cottage is close to the lake, restaurants, boating, hiking...Yosemite is 16 miles away. Newly renovated, very private cottage - Great for romantic getaways, solo adventures, and small families .. comfortable for 2 but can accommodate 4 (using the sofa-sleeper). Great appliances/laminated & tile floors/washer & dryer in unit/beach towels/toiletries. WiFi, Board Games, Smart TV with Netflix, and a private deck out back with charcoal BBQ. Private Lakeside beach area available only to this neighborhood.
We live in a quiet neighborhood - all residential. Most of the homes are second homes. You can walk to the lake (in 5 minutes ... approx 75 yards), walk to the village (in about 15 minutes) and walk to a great hiking trail (15 min). Lake temperature during the summer ranges from 70-80 degrees. There is a beach area by our community dock which is ideal for summer days lakeside.

Cozy Cottage,clean, quiet neighborhood, great access to the lake. Pet friendly, we had a blast. Will definately be back next year. Hiking trails nearby, fishing around the lake was very accessible. All the comforts of home you will need.My dog had a blast. Thank you Stephanie

Very well equipped with anything that could be needed for cooking. Beach was fantastic. Bed was very nice. A/C unit in bedroom should be updated. It was louder than it should be. Yosemite Lake Retreat

Beat all of our expectations by far! Stephanie is amazing and thought of everything you could possibly need. Her tips and helpful suggestions, along with personal touches, made our trip so much better. It saved us time and allowed us first hand knowledge of Yosemite and Bass Lake. We had a blast and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future. There's a great restaurant, the Marina at Bass Lake, with good food and music and also rentals for all types of water sporting fun! It was so nice to explore Yosemite and return to a lake neighborhood to unwind and continue vacationing into the evening. Thanks again Stephanie for your hospitality.

Cozy as described. Everything we needed plus a private backyard patio to enjoy our coffee in the am (had we stayed longer would have bbq’d). Very close to town, and a stone’s throw from the lake—-a clean and inviting retreat for a Bass Lake getaway. Super quiet at night. Stephanie is a great host.

Perfect!

We enjoyed ourselves immensely. The cottage is immaculate and it is evident that Stephanie has put a great deal of effort into decorating and stocking the cottage with everything you might need. The heated mattress itself is enough to warrant a 10/10 rating. The location is prime. A short walk down a small hill to the lake and a 3 min drive to the marina with great restaurants. We mentioned her name at the marina and were comp'd a free non motorized boat rental for 4 hours! We chose the canoe and had a great time exploring the lake. Its easy to get to Yosemite which is about a 20 minute drive. We did the Sugar Pine Railroad evening ride with dinner and campfire songs and it was just awesome. We will definitely come back to the Cozy Cottage as it was perfect. Thank you very much for sharing your place.

Great Stay at Bass Lake

Great House. Perfect location near the lake and the owners let us fish off of their private dock a short walk from the house. This was a huge bonus. Very good people own the house and live just nearby. Everything was as expected. Had some internet/connectivity issues at the house but it didnt bother us too much. Beds were comfy and kitchen was great for our short stay.

Beautiful experience

This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first. The hosts are incredible and the property is less than 2 minutes from a private beach! I absolutely would recommend and plan to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. Stephanie was fantastic and quickly responded to any questions. We were able to hangout and swim off the dock and the little beach was a godsend as it was over 100 degrees everyday. But the water temp was lovely. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Cozy and ideal starting point to explore Yosemite from

We spent a few very relaxing days here, the lodge had all the equipment we could've needed, everything was very well organized and labelled. Check-in went super smoothly and our hosts gave great recommendations for the area/Bass Lake and useful info for visiting Yosemite (thanks again!). We loved winding down at the lodge, on the deck especially, and would definitely stay again!

Sister's getaway

My sister and I plan getaway trip one or twice a year. This was one of our best trips. Accommodations were accurately reported. We had everything we needed and then some. Lots of cute little reminders and helpful instructions everywhere. Added a personal touch. Hosts were the best. Bed as exceptional. Would not hesitate staying here again.
