“You can tell the ownership cares about the place and is trying to make a good go of it buy they certainly have challenges. It was a big old school full-service hotel from different times so it is a lot of square footage to maintain. The lobby and rooms are very clean but it is getting dated - and the price reflects that. “The room was clean with a seating area and pseudo-fireplace. Staff at the desk, the cleaning, the breakfast folks all personable, friendly and engaging.”

“Rooms are clean, beds comfortable. A little dated. Two floors, no elevator or luggage carts so if you have mobility issues ask for a ground room. Breakfast was pretty good.”

“Carpet in the hall on the third floor was loose, making it difficult to wheel a suitcase. Beds are firm - good for me, not so much my daughter who prefers softer bed. Also sad that the indoor hot tub still isn’t repaired. We did like having the restaurant right there. Over all an enjoyable stay and will use them again.”
