“This was perfect for a family holiday. The house is clean, spacious and very well equipped for those who want to cook and eat in-house. The garden is lovely, with lots of space and with different areas to sit out. The gite is about a 10 minute walk from Carentan, or a few minutes in the car. Carentan is about 60 minutes easy driving from Caen. Our host, Mme Haubois, was very welcoming and gave us some good ideas on where to eat and visit, and sorted out a minor issue with the washing machine...

“Maison très bien aménagée mais l’annonce ne prévient pas qu’il n’y a rien à votre arrivée. A peine un demi rouleau de papier toilette Dans la cuisine, rien, pas de savon, pas d’éponge, pas de sel ou de poivre..”

“A lovely property with a fantastic pool. The only slight disappointment was that the pool became unusable for 2 days because a chemical treatment, that should have been done before our arrival, was started on Tuesday afternoon.”

“Beautiful property situated in the Normandy countryside. Perfect for D-Day sightseeing. If you want peace and quite this is the place for you. Lovely pool for the hot days and children. Amenities like supermarkets anout 4k away. Hosts very welcoming and accommodating, no problem too small. Everything catered for perfect .”

“Fabulous place to spend a few days. The property was great and fulfilled all our needs.We loved the peace and tranquility. Plenty of places to visit nearby.Highly recommend.”

“We loved the location of our Normandy apartment. It took a few minutes for us to find it. The picture used is looking from the parking area toward the road you pull in from. This was an absolutely beautiful place, rose bushes and hydrangeas as large as a person. Quiet and peaceful. Close to the main interstate and just minutes away from several small communities. We loved it!”

“The outside area was amazing but the inside needs renovation it was not completely clean lots of cobwebs. I have never had to pay for bedding in any house i have rented and the bedding was a lot to be desirex plus we had to make our own beds up”
