“This is a nicely designed and maintained hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. My only complaint is there is a good amount of noise from cars as the hotel is situated on the main road through the town. Also, if you’re driving a car and need to turn left onto the main road, it can be tricky due to the traffic traveling on the road in both directions and there’s no side exit from the parking lot onto a street with a stoplight or stop sign. “The eggs were tasty even if they were square. As always, room was clean as a whistle! This hotel never disappoints!”

“The pool was closed when we got there. The hotel is undergoing some enhancements however the floor we stayed on smelled like urine. The floors were so dirty in our room, my kids feet were completely black with dirt after walking around for a few minutes. Staff was friendly enough but I wouldn’t stay again.”

“Refrigerator didn’t work and informed front desk who said maintenance was on site she will have someone look at it. More than 24 hrs later called the front desk for an update but they were unable to supply any information. We were offered another room so we had to pack up and unpack again. Was told by staff member Bryson that we would receive a monetary compensation but we did not get anything for our inconvenience.”

“It was good. Clean room, easy check in, a little bit loud (mostly the plumbing) but nothing crazy.”

“There's not enough parking but it was very well kept and there's a cash deposit that I never seen anything about and wasn't aware of until I checked in but you get it back at checkout”

“The rooms tv didnt work, half the lamps didnt, there was mold in the shower and behind the mirror, there were cockroaches and other bugs all over the room. The bed had stains in it, cigarette holes, and a wet spot when i arrived. The entire property smells like marijuana outside.”

“The property is generally nice for a simple short stay. It sometimes gets noisy and have some people smoking cigarettes and weed around the rooms, so that can get someone uncomfortable and to me it’s the major downside.”

“The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit.
