“Large house with lots of room! We are a family of 7 and there was definitely room for more. The views are great and falling asleep with the windows open listening to the waves was perfect! The house is under a bit of construction but we didn’t mind, nothing that prevents you from living life normally. The yard is in need of a clean up but again nothing that prevents you from living life. The beach is beautiful!!”

“We loved everything about our stay. We had gone up to go to the I-500, but decided to stay right where we were, it was so peaceful and lovely. The host is most generous and very hospitable. We thank you for a wonderful trip home. Oh, that's right, I forgot to tell you I'm from Rudyard and we come home about 3-4 times a year. So, we'll be seeing you again. Until next time..... “We loved the house and all of its charm. The view was amazing. Loved watching the freighters on their way to/from the Locks. We were there during both hot days (85) & cold (40). The ceiling fans kept the place very comfortable during the heat & the furnace kept us cozy when the weather turned. Great location with an amazing view! Convenient to gas, places to eat, groceries, and more. Host was responsive & helpful. We would love to return again!”

“Nestled in the woods and a short walk to the beach, this was a lovely cabin. We only had two in our party, but imagine it would be great for a multi-family trip. Kitchen was modern and had plenty of tools for cooking. Several local casual dining options as well as options a bit further away. Owner was easy to contact and was responsive. We visited the Shipwreck Museum and Tahquamenon Falls on a day-trip. Local area felt rustic, rural and somewhat secluded.”

“Waking up here for a week was wonderful! This stay checked a lot of boxes for us and was a great place for us to get out and explore a large portion of the U.P. The wonderful back porch and patio areas are the highlight of this property, with the gorgeous Pine River and a busy beaver to watch, the mornings here were wonderful. This property offers a lot of amenities, including handsoap, some sample toiletries, and linens. I was a bit surprised there wasn't any dishsoap, but being inexpensive...

“The property was just as listed. Nice space for a large group of women. We didn't need to use the cute little stove as the weather was warm. Two of us used the screened-in porch as a bedroom--such a nice view of the stars and great breezes! Kitchen was perfect for light cooking--everything there for our needs. Plenty of towels! Even plenty of hot water for showers--for a big group!”

“Did we enjoy our stay? Yes Would we like to stay there again? Yes But the cabin may not be for everyone. Others have commented on deferred maintenance, and you may find window-coverings/windows/window locks that don't work well or at all, flaking paint on the bathroom ceiling, duct tape on the floor, or shaky railings outside.
