“Highly recommend August House. The rooms in this heritage home are clean and beautiful with a minimalist, pine aesthetic. The breakfast is buffet with local bread, granola, berries, scrambled eggs, etc. The staff are very helpful. There is a sauna and several shared spaces. The rooms have no TV. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was deep. ”

“The owners were extremely friendly and breakfast very good. Loved Kermit, the resident dog! The view from the room was beautiful as we were right on the water. We parked the car and walked wherever we wanted to go in town. Also, less than an hour from Balancing Rock on Digby Neck. From town to countryside. ”

“We had a great stay. Bonnie, our host was very friendly and accommodating. This house is so big and beautiful. Our room was clean and big. The AC was working great. Cool room when it 30 degrees Celsius outside. We had access to the kitchen and living room. Quit place close to everything. The patio area was overlooking the water. We would go there again if we go back to Digby !!!”
