“The location is worth every penny”

“Check in was fine. There was a note on the door with a number to call and the person came very quickly to get us a key. The room was quite clean however there were 2 huge spiders and an earwig as soon as we went in the bathroom and a few more creatures this morning. The beds were comfortable though. It was quite overpriced in our opinion but with limited hotels there wasn't many options.”

“Very outdated decoration, all the furnitures look like from the 80s and not in a very good condition. They should renovate extensively to keep up with the modern world. The carpet in the room was also very old and looks dirty. The bathroom was clean enough, one positive thing is that they have a complete kichen setup inside the room including stove, sink, freeze, microwave oven, toaster, utensils etc. which is quite rare in motel rooms.”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “Great stay and lovely rooms… clean and modern in a good location. Nice amenities tho did not use including sauna, hot tub and fire pit. Enjoyed backyard area with out dog. Nice people who really aim to please! Lots of options for a self serve breakfast.”

“Our host is having some medical isses that I'm sure effected our stay. The proberty is very rustic and our suite would have been more comfortable with a couple chairs to sit on. The stairs up to our room were a challenge for my husband and do to all the rain quite slippery. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit and your choice of bread, bagel or toaster waffle. I think my expectations for a fabulous PRI experience fell a little short.”

“Nice and helpful people, I stopped there on my way to North Sidney to catch a ferry to New Foundland. It was a pleasant stay.”
