“We stayed in an apartment at South Shore Suites and had an excellent experience. The place was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a great plus during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful detail of having coffee available for the coffee maker. We also enjoyed the gas BBQ, which is very convenient since you don’t have to worry about charcoal.

“We have stayed here once before back in 2020 during COVID when there were plenty of restrictions (No breakfast, no pool, masks) WE loved Goderich and wanted to come back. WE chose the Comfort Suites as our best option. When we arrived this time we were informed the pool was closed - this after a trip to St. Jacob's in February where we were informed the pool was closed there, as well. Why can't these closures be posted on EXPEDIA when a person is booking??? Expedia is dropping the ball here....

“The staff was great: Mark at the front desk was friendly and helpful.
Our room was spacious and renovated.
The location of the motel is noisy when you’re outside but fine in the room. The restaurant was convenient and the food was good. Service was very good.
We didn’t use the pool as it wasn’t very inviting after I had a chance to swim in the lake. The place was very quiet.”
