“The house is big and sprawling, with beautiful generous bedrooms and bathrooms, lovely comfortable beds and a cozy updated kitchen. I definitely could have used instructions on how to use an induction stove and a convection oven, and the clothes dryer. Having those instructions in English would have been a bonus! The house was generally in a poor state of neglect, fridge door didn't close, kitchen kick board falling off, cooker inadequate for large group. The dishwasher stopped closing at one point and my brother fixed it after borrowing tools from a neighbour. The host just said it was working before. Pool was toxic and not maintained. My great nephew was sick after swallowing the water....
