House Rules at The Meadows Beach House

We kindly ask that you follow these house rules during your stay:
👥 Guests & Visitors
• Maximum number of guests: 6
• No unregistered guests or overnight visitors without prior approval.

🕒 Check-in/Check-out
• Check-in: After 3PM
• Check-out: By 11AM
• Please let us know if you'd like to request an early check-in or late check-out—we’ll do our best to accommodate!

🔇 Quiet Hours
• Quiet hours: 10PM – 7AM
• Please be respectful of neighbours

🚭 Smoking & Vaping
• No smoking or vaping inside the house. $1000 fee will be charge to any guest that breaks this rule.
• Smoking is allowed outside only—please use ashtrays and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

🐾 Pets
• No pets allowed.

🔥 Safety
• No open flames or candles indoors.
• Fire extinguishers and first aid kit are located under the kitchen sink and in the closet at the top of the stairs.

🧼 Cleaning & Damage
• Please report any accidental damage or spills right away—things happen, we understand!
• Excessive mess or unreported damages may result in an additional cleaning or repair fee.

🗑️ Garbage & Recycling
• The garbage bin is located at the end of the driveway. Please separate garbage and ensure all bags are securely tied before placing them inside.

♨️ Hot Tub Rules
Safety & Use
. Use at your own risk. Guests are responsible for their own safety.
. No children under 12 in the hot tub; ages 12–17 must be supervised at all times.
. Do not use the hot tub while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
. No glass containers in or near the hot tub—use provided plastic cups only.
. No diving or jumping.
. Limit soak time to 15–20 minutes to avoid overheating or dehydration.
. Pregnant guests should consult a physician before using the hot tub.

Cleanliness
. Please shower before using to remove lotions, oils, makeup, sunscreen, and deodorant—these damage the filter.
. Do not add soaps, oils, or bubbles to the water. If this is done a fee of up to $2500 may be charged to you the guest.
. Keep hair up to help maintain water clarity.

Respect & Care
. Replace the hot tub cover when not in use and secure the straps.
. Do not sit or stand on the cover—it can break and guests may be charged.
. Avoid splashing water out—refilling may cause the heater to stop working.
. Do not adjust the water chemistry or temperature beyond the posted range (usually 100–104°F / 37–40°C).
. Please keep voices low to respect neighbors.

Damage & Fees
. Excessive dirt, oils, or foreign objects may result in an damage fee up to $2500.
. Any damage to the tub or cover will be charged to the guest.

Health & Emergency
. Exit immediately if you feel dizzy, overheated, or unwell.
. Call 911 in an emergency.

A slice of heaven!!

Amazing stay, beautiful location and house. House was so modern and clean, showers were spacious . We explored Nova Scotia and enjoyed the nearby beach as well. Beach was gorgeous and not too crowded, beautiful rocks on the right and we saw seals daily. Andre was very responsive to any questions. We will definitely be back in the future!!
