You will have the property to yourself, but your host will be available throughout your stay should you need anything.

You'll have access to the entire home and grounds, including the pool (seasonal), outdoor spaces, and all common areas.

The garage is not available for guest use - please park in the driveway (plenty of space).

A few closets are locked for owner storage.

WINTER NOTE: We apologize but the clothes washing machine, and downstairs bathroom, are out of service until March. Due to this unprecedented cold, there is a frozen pipe that cannot be repaired until the ground thaws. We can offer local laundry, drop off/pickup options, and possibly our neighbor next door to allow use. Or we will honor a full refund.

THE HOUSE - A MID CENTURY DREAM
Inside the spacious 1960’s two level ranch home featuring vintage mid century furnishings, you’ll find 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, sleeping up to 6 people very comfortably. The open plan kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need for cooking, baking, and dining. The window-lined dining room seats 8-10, two eat-in counters off the kitchen seat 4, and an outdoor dining table seats 4-6 for prime outdoor dining. Large windows throughout the home bring the nature inside, so you can watch the birds, rabbits, and deer enjoy the property! Lots of comfortable common space for hanging out! Perfect location for a Hudson Valley Retreat!

Home amenities include an unheated salt water pool, stream, forest, fully equipped kitchen, propane grill, two jacuzzi bathtubs, kids playroom with twin beds, back-up generator and dedicated TV room. The spectacular primary suite features an insanely comfortable California King bed and 15’ ceilings overlooking a stunning natural setting. The master bath has a jacuzzi bathtub and a separate stand-up shower. The three additional rooms include a queen bedroom, a full bedroom, and a kids play room has two twin beds and lots of books and toys for kids aged 2-10. The large living room features a stunning fireplace, Sonos speaker, exposed beams and ample seating. The den downstairs features a 60” 4K OLED smart TV with Apple TV, Sonos sound bar, pullout couch, and a desk / work station for working from home. Upgraded wifi wired throughout.

THE POOL - MOUNTAIN VIEW SPLENDOR
Our fenced in gunite pool is open from late May thru early September and is professionally cleaned and maintained weekly. Float your day away, and watch the sunset over the mountain views from the pool area.

THE AREA - NATURE MEETS CULTURE
A beautiful, natural setting... you’ll fall asleep to the sound of tree frogs, crickets and babbling brook and wake to a symphony of songbirds.

You’re right in the middle of world class nature and culture. From hiking to skiing, mountain biking and river wading, the area is outdoor heaven, all four seasons. World class culture - dining, art, antiques, vintage, galleries, museums, festivals, and so much more - right here in Woodstock and close drives to Hudson, Rhinebeck, the Berkshires, Dia Beacon, Art Omi, and Storm King.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES + INFO
Private chef and grocery shopping / fridge stocking services might be available upon request (pending availability)— we collaborate with an incredible professional chef and dear friend who’s worked at several Michelin restaurants. She cooks all styles, with a special aptitude for European and Asian flavors. Highly recommend it!

WINTER DETAILS
We're a 35minute drive to Belleayre and 38min drive to Hunter Mountain for skiing. There are dozens of all season hikes within a short drive, great for snow shoeing as well!
Note: the primary bedroom can get cold when temps drop, so make sure to bring warm, cozy clothes! We've equipped the bedroom with heaps of blankets, including electric blankets and space heaters. This does not apply to the Queen or Full bedroom, as they have their own electric base board heat with their own thermostats. The propane grill availability depends on weather and conditions - in heavy snow or ice conditions, we can’t allow use due to safety concerns.

Our Woodstock home is not just a vacation rental -- it's our family's retreat and sanctuary, and is set up for comfort and relaxation. No parties, please :)

A car is essential - this is a rural area with limited rideshare availability.

4-wheel drive is strongly recommended in winter. The private road is plowed but response time can be 24-36 hours after a storm.

Free parking in the driveway.

There is no central cooling system in the home. The primary bedroom has an AC unit and fans throughout the home.

The pool does not have a cover. Debris/objects/ fragile animals may sometimes fall in, which we have placed a net to scoop out if necessary. The pool is cleaned weekly by a professional company to ensure the pool is sanitary and clean.
