  • Magnifica casa molto confortevole completamente rinnovata nel 2013/2014 completamente rifatta un bel bagno 2 camere da letto un soggiorno e cucina attrezzata tutto è nuovo, molto bello e luminoso, silenzioso, comodo accesso per disabili, accettiamo fumatori e animali. L'accesso da Mont Saint Michel è molto veloce a 2 km dai parcheggi Mont Saint Michel o 20 minuti a piedi

Super séjour

La location est superbe, tant dans la rénovation que dans l'équipement proposé. Idéalement situé, on peut tout faire à pieds (boulangerie, épicerie, restaurants.... et le Mont Saint Michel bien entendu). Ajouté à cela un propriétaire hyper sympathique et votre séjour est génial.

Situation : exeptionnelle. Idéale pour partir vers le mont st michel à pied, point de départ idéal pour visiter le sud Normandie et le nord ouest breton.Logement : Personnes sensibles aux chants de coq, peut être en tenir compte. Matelas dur. Une location de vélos sur place est possible. Propriétaire réactif, sympathique et orientant vers les endroits de visite et vers les commerces intéressants. (Boulangerie, épicerie, magasin de souvenirs, restaurant,….Suivre ses conseils est une valeur sure.

Die Fotos verwirren

Grundsätzlich war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir hatten uns allerdings von den Fotos leiten lassen und sind von einem Haus und einem Schlafzimmer mehr ausgegangen. Es ist innerhalb des Hauses sehr hellhörig und wir hatten die Wohnung unten, sodass man von oben jeden Schritt hört. Das Grundstück ist leider offen (kein Tor), das ist mit Hund etwas doof. Und die Fahrräder sind nicht im Preis inbegriffen. Wir hätten es als Wohnung für den Preis nicht gemietet! Was auch noch wichtig zu wissen ist, daß das Bad/ die Toilette von einer für geräuschempfindliche Menschen unangenehm rauschenden Lüftung bedient wird, auch nachts. Zum Schluss noch anzumerken wäre, dass um die Ecke der Bus für 3,10€ direkt zum Mont Saint Michel fährt

wunderschönes Objekt

Das Haus ist sehr schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt benötigt. Unser Hund schien auch sehr glücklich. Allerdings wird das Haus als Ferienhaus beworben. Das ist nicht ganz korrekt, da es hier 2 Ferienwohnungen gibt, die einzeln vermietet werden. Man kann leider nicht vorab wählen, ob man die Erdgeschoss-, oder die Dachwohnung bekommt. Wir hatten Glück und die untere Wohnung. Bei 30 Grad ist das schon ein Unterschied. Ansonsten kann man in der Nähe am Kanal entlang bis Mont Saint Michele laufen. Das sind ca. 4 km. Wir haben im nachhinein bedauert mit dem Auto zum letzten Parkplatz gefahren zu sein. Je nachdem, wo man dort landet, muss man ebenso weit laufen uns zahlt noch die Parkgebühren. Alles in Allem ein schönes Haus, dass auch noch etliche Restaurants in der Nähe hat.

House near Mont Saint Michel

The only negative relating to this stay was the weather, and we don’t hold the VRBO manager responsible for that. And the weather could have been much worse. It was really just a little too cold for those of us from Hawaii. Hundreds, perhaps thousands, braved the cold to walk out to Mont St Michel, and there were people wading in the water to the side of the raised road and walkway. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the recommended restaurant just across the street in front of our house. The house, itself, was very well appointed with everything that we needed. With the manager living right next door, there would have been no problem getting assistance if we needed help with anything, but everything worked just fine. The WiFi was a little bit weak in the house, but it worked. It did work better at the table just outside the back door, since the router is set up on that side of the house. I would say that we hope to return some day, but at 76, living in Hawaii, that is a fairly unrealistic wish.

Un emplacement idéal près du mont saint Michel

Séjour de 3 nuits très agréable dans cette ancienne bergerie très bien rénovée. Le gite abrite 2 logements : 1 au rdc et 1 à l'étage. Les 2 entrées sont independantes. Le proprietaire habite dans la maison a côté. Nous avons logé dans celui de l'étage qui comprend une chambre. Le salon dispose de 2 couchages de 2 personnes chacun. Tout est neuf et décoré avec goût. Literie de qualité et appartement très bien équipé. L'emplacement est idéal pour aller visiter le mont Saint Michel, départ à pied possible pour éviter les frais de parking. Il y a environ 4 km. Le proprietaire a des vélos à louer, nous avons pu nous rendre au mont à vélo. Nous avons également fait une journée vers Cancale et Saint Malo, route magnifique par la côte, activité char à voile sur la route à Hirel. Autour du gite, il y a des restos, une épicerie, une boulangerie... Accueil jovial d'Hilaire et de sa maman qui nous ont donné des plans, des bons conseils.

Maison propre et bien située. Attention pour les animaux le terrain n'est pas clôturé. Et 2 appartements dans la maison, ce qui n'est pas clairement précisé dans l'annonce. Mais les 2 logements sont bien indépendants.

Bait and switch ad

We hope that VRBO will take note and remove the listing. My wife and I, both in our 70s, rented this unit for three nights, from July 5 to July 7, 2019. We rented based on the VRBO listing mainly because of the 40 on-line pictures and the promise that the unit is handicapped accessible. Prior to embarking on our trip, we realized that there was something odd about the pictures: they depict more rooms than the unit was listed for, e.g., at least three different bedrooms, and two different kitchens. It seems now that the owner was mixing together pictures of two different units, a nicer, accessible downstairs unit and a very inferior, cramped upstairs unit. We contacted the owner by email to clarify the situation. We received no reply from him. The on-line occupancy calendar on the VRBO site showed no other rentals of the unit for the weeks prior to our dates. We arrived in Beauvoir on July 5 and proceeded to the unit that we thought we had rented---the nicer downstairs unit, depicted in most the pictures---only to find a couple from Austria already ensconced there. They said they had rented the unit from another site six months prior. The owner's mother came over and gave us a key to the upstairs unit. We protested that this was not what we rented, but she spoke no English and we could not understand her French. She said that the owner would come over in the evening to talk with us. He never showed up during the three days we stayed. We emailed him with complaints but he never responded. Here are some of the misleading parts of the ad: 1. Of the 40 photos, only seven in fact appear to depict parts of the unit we were given---the pictures numbered 10, 12, 13, 24, 26, 31, and 32. As you can see, those pictures show a cramped upper-story unit, with eaves that make the actual walkable space in the unit extremely small. One cannot stand upright in most of the unit. My wife bumped her head on the walls several times. 2. The actual unit was accessible only via a narrow, tall staircase, which contradicts the promise that the unit is "wheelchair accessible". 3. The ad says that unit has two bedrooms, but it has only one. The ad says that the unit sleeps 6 people but there is only a single bedroom with a bed that sleeps two, plus a single day bed and a small crib. The ad says that the bathroom has one large sink for two people, but it had only a tiny pedestal sink.

Gorgeous and extremely clean house

We stayed only 2 nights in this charming little house and wish it was longer. This is a great location to visit Mont Saint-Michele and the surrounding areas. It was summer when we visited and the gardens were in full bloom and there was a nice sitting area right out front to relax. There was plenty of space for our family of 4 (2 adults + 2 kids). The kids enjoyed the trampoline in the yard. We were in the downstairs unit and someone else had the upstairs unit, but they had their own separate entrance and it's all completely separate and locked, unless you have a large group and then you can open it up. We couldn't even hear anything from upstairs the entire time we were there. The owner is extremely nice and speaks English better than our French, which was helpful. He made some restaurant recommendations and explained how to walk up to Mont Saint-Michele. From the house all the way to the top of the abbey is 2.9 miles, but it's flat until you get to the island. You can also drive closer and walk or take a bus, but parking is 14 Euros and the walk was nice. Overall I highly recommend this property and think it is even nicer looking than the pictures.

Pour aller visiter le Mont Saint Michel, nous avons choisi cet endroit situé idéalement à quelques encablures des navettes du Mont. Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la part des propriétaires. Nous avons été logés à l’étage de cette jolie maison qui possède toutes les commodités. Nous avons dormi dans une belle chambre et nos 2 enfants ont profité des 2 canapés convertibles très confortables. Nous recommandons ce gite pour qui désire visiter cette région.

Modernised property in a great location for visiting Mont st Michel

This property has been modernised and all the appliances in the kitchen and the bathroom function well. It is a few minutes drive to the car park from where you can catch the shuttle bus to mont st michel (it's not possible to drive all the way to mt st michel). There are also a few restaurants and shops just over the road and the owner lives next door in case of any issues. The house is divided into two (upstairs and downstairs) although no one was staying in the other part when we were there

zeer mooie en verzorgde vakantiewoning, ruime en goed gelegen

mooie moderne woning. Wij hadden de benedenverdieping met tuin dus top. Alle accomodatie aanwezig die nodig is. Een aanrader voor wie de Mont Saint Michel wil bezoeken en mooie uitstappen wil doen in de omgeving. De eigenaar Hilaire heeft ons zeer goed ontvangen. hartelijk dank hiervoor

lovely stay for Mont St Michele

We had a lovely stay. Hilaire was the perfect host! Just the right size of Home for our family and outstanding for children. Our host even let the kids collect their own eggs from his chickens! Walk a few feet and you can see Mont St Michele in front of you, even the little town where the home is located is so charming. Thanks Hilaire!
