All on one level, the cabin is situated within the owner's grounds and provides accommodation for those who are looking for a quiet setting yet only 7 miles from Southwold with its lighthouse, pretty beach and iconic pier.

Enter the property and be wowed by the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It’s a lovely space with dual-aspect windows, exposed wooden beams and a vaulted ceiling. There’s a sofa and armchair around the TV and behind this a dining table for two guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant self-catering stay. Move through to the double bedroom which has plenty of light thanks to further dual-aspect windows, and the shower room with a walk-in shower means you’ll be fully refreshed each day. The wraparound garden area has a beautiful lawn and garden furniture for dining alfresco.

The village of Henstead provides easy access to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. The village has two pubs and is within a short drive from the market town of Beccles (6 miles). Other close attractions are Southwold (7 miles), Oulton Broad (7 miles) and Covehithe (4 miles). The fine city of Norwich with its cathedral and castle is only 26.5 miles away. There are many good pubs, restaurants, shops, lovely walks, bird watching at RSPB Minsmere, fishing, boat hire and trips, all but a short drive away. This lodge is an ideal base to discover and explore this beautiful area.
