Idyllic Hideaway in the Mountains
Private and secluded cabin complete with all the comforts. Joolie and Michael’s efforts to add thoughtful inclusions are everywhere in Willow Cabin. Lots to read, eclectic artworks and quirky pieces to amuse. Our peaceful stay was only interrupted by the birds and pattern of rain. We had a lovely stay, just 2 nights but it was enough to reset. Highly recommend as a couples escape.

Lovely spot and access to Lamington
Lovely little compact cottage with all the features. Comfortable, warm and cozy. Host was very helpful for little things when needed.

Peace in the hinterland

We enjoyed our stay at Willow Cabin. It’s very pretty and the deck is lovely. We found the walk to the cabin (with our suit case) a bit tricky and getting into and out of the shower wasn’t easy. Also the cabin is very small and there was nowhere to put the suit case.

Short holiday
Quaint little cabin, very comfortable. Location was great but unfortunately the trees are growing, reducing what could be a magnificent view. Handy location to BinnaBurra and the other Gold Coast hinterland attractions.

Cosy cabin with great views
Very comfortable, cosy with eclectic colourful decor. The cabin has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing stay and a beautiful deck to lull the time away. Visits by wallabies in the garden, lots of bird calls and peacocks in neighbouring gardens. So much stunning scenery. Wonderful.

Sweet Stay
Cute and unique. Comfortable bed and a beautiful view. We had a lovely time. We rated 4 stars because the shower curtain was a little mouldy and we could have used more surface space on bedsides/side tables.

Thanks Kate for your review. We always appreciate feedback. We apologise for the shower curtain. We have been away for 6 weeks, and it was overlooked. It will be cleaned immediately. Also the point about surface space is understood. We’ve replaced larger books with smaller books. We hope you will consider a return visit sometime. Thanks for staying in Willow Cabin.

Cozy Nest
We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay at Willow Cabin. Joolie and Michael are superb hosts, helpful, excellent communication prior to our arrival. Lots of interesting books, beautifully supplied kitchen, inc honey, jam, coffee, fruit, herbs, oil, etc ... did I mention the wine and chocolate? Amazing! Absolutely recommend it.

Cosy little cabin
Joolie was great - we had everything we needed. I have a bad back and the mattress was very comfortable. Even though the cabin is on tank water the water pressure in the shower was good. It rained a LOT while we were there and the cabin is made of colourbond so I LOVED falling asleep to the sound of the rain but my partner found it a bit loud. We had a lot of luggage as we were away for a couple of weeks but only had 5 days in the cabin and hanging space and storage space is quite minimal so would recommend packing a separate bag if you are in the some situation. Highly recommend!

A quaint and quirky cottage, with a lovely relaxing view and setting. Be prepared to drive a good 20-40 minutes for anything other than a cafe. Perfect if you want a romantic weekend where you stay in.

It was. Very comfy stay, had everything we needed. The owner was very accommodating! Will definitely recommend! The price is pretty high but it was well worth the stay. A great place to unwind and just be in the moment

Perfect minibreak
A lovely stay in a perfect location. Nice and quiet and private. Big soaking tub for after the big days of hiking beautiful Lamington National Park. Soft bed, like a cloud.

Watching & listening to the birds in the morning and late afternoon from the balcony with views into the valley and beyond to the Gold Coast. The cabin was clean and comfortable and artistically decorated by Joolie herself. Recommended.

Very cosy (tiny) cottage for two. Quirky with lovely artwork and great books for browsing. Stunning outlook from the sunny verandah. Kitchen could be a little better equipped, as no dining anywhere close by.

Serene and scenic
Really well kitted out self contained unit with lovely touches and art work, soft furnishings and a private deck. While at the bottom of an existing property, it felt private and secluded. We stayed one night for a wedding down the road.

Cosy romantic hideaway in an amazing location.
Perfect hosts, breathtaking location and views, wonderful cosy cabin with everything for a relaxing romantic escape. A mini home away from home surrounded with fresh herbs and a lovely cottage garden. Plenty of nearby experiences to explore from scenic bush walks to boutique shopping or hot air balloon rides or paragliding for the adventurous. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our extended stay.

We had a lovely relaxing time at willow cottage. Explored tambourine & carnungra. Had a fabulous horse ride with SREG. Great veranda for watching the storms. Absolutely loved your garden!

Romantic cabin on scenic rim
Great little cabin, very modern, well appointed and clean. We were a little disappointed that a fair portion of the view was obscured by trees but delighted by the paragliders sailing above us on 2 of the afternoons.

Weekend Beechmont Escape
Our stay at the Cabin was great, beautiful views and perfect cool nights to snuggle up and watch a movie. Felt like the space was our own with minimal face to face interaction with the hosts, allowing us to relax and make ourselves at home.

Willow Cabin was wonderful!
Joolie and Michael have the little cabin set up so well! Everything you need is there for you! We needed somewhere to stay whilst our house was being renovated and this was just perfect as it felt like a home away from home? The views are truly amazing, the bed is SO comfortable and Joolie would bring fresh flowers and herbs to us out of the garden often! Both Joolie and Michael made us both feel very welcome and we had such an enjoyable stay at Willow Cabin, a heartfelt thanks to the both of you! Vivian & John

A magical mountain retreat
Joolie’s Cabin is everything and more you could ever want in a peaceful getaway! The sunrises are incredible, the views are just spectacular! We have enjoyed every moment here! So clean, beautifully decorated and Oh! so comfortable! Joolie and Michael are very special hosts and have done everything to make our stay such a memorable and happy one! Nice spot for a short quiet stay
We enjoyed our couple of days at Willow Cabin. The back deck is great for afternoon drinks, watching the Para Gliders and Hang Gliders float above.
