We are quite disappointed at how they arranged our transfer from the airport to the hotel - We told them in advance that we needed an 11seater van as we are 5 people with 10 luggages and we even called them to let them know that our flight was delayed by one hour, but when we got there our transport wasn't there as the hotel did not tell the driver about the time change and they only provided a 7 seater van which couldn't fit us.Due to the language barrier...they forced us to book another vehicle and ended up paying for 2 vehicles which was very costly! very annoyed and angry about this as it took 2hrs to sort out and it was already 2am. They showed no remorse for the inconvenience they had caused my family.
Futhermore, we booked 2 rooms where one had no aircon so it was very hot & the other room had very bad lighting and felt dark and gloomy. When we asked to swap out one of the rooms to have aircon they brought up an angry cleaner lady who screamed at us in chinese that no aircon in the room and to deal with it. It wasn't till we demanded to have our money refunded so we could move hotels that they finally gave us another room with aircon.
On our 3rd day here when we decided to sleep in till 9am, we got woken up at 8am by loud drilling noises that went on for at least 10mins.
The only good this about this hotel is it's location as it near the beijing central train station and at least had a nice english speaking concierge.
I WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN.
