“Booked a superior room but got an “upgrade”
This is not a hotel. In the lobby you’d find signs for a number of companies that run these rooms.
The room I got looked nothing like the photos. The front desk cited an electrical issue and gave us an upgrade- with three plain beds, a dripping A/C unit and shower with a toilet in it.
When I insisted, they said they could move us to the room the room the next day at noon because someone was in it. So it wasn’t an electrical issue.
We checked out...

“This is a great hotel near Huangpu Village! The location is perfect, just a short walk from Huangpu Ancient Port. It’s very convenient for dining, shopping and sightseeing.
