“Upon arriving at the motel, I was informed that they do not accept online reservations. As a result, I had to use hotel.com to request a refund, which I have not yet received. Despite my efforts to contact the motel, they consistently advise me to speak with the manager, but there is no manager available. I had to pay upon arrival, and they were unwilling to issue a return.”

“The good: The hotel and rooms are clean and in good shape. The staff are friendly. The bad: The hotel was short-staffed (room cleaning was skipped due to an admitted shortage), there was heavy marijuana smoke in the main hallway that crept into rooms one night (even with a 100% smoke-free policy), and there were inadequate quantities of basic breakfast items on two of four mornings (ran out of eggs and milk).”

“Very well maintained property. Beautiful room and very quiet. I will definitely stay there again.”

“The chaise lounge and desk chair had stains all over the fabric. The peephole was broken so my husband had to put tissue in the peephole. The water in the shower pressure was weak. The bathroom sink had a slow drain so the water took forever to go down. The microwave was broken. The best thing about the room was that it was on a high floor.”

“The hostel is situated in a residential area. Parking is available on a residential street. The check-in process with Travis was easy. Minor issue when showing me to my private room as someone else had the same first name and accidentally showed me to that room first. But was quickly corrected. The room itself was functional. The bed was firm. The shared bathrooms was clean, but showing its age with various broken tiles. I was only staying one night in Detroit and this is definitely an option...

“My booking was wrongly put together through Expedia. Got a room for handicaps which I never asked for. Although the hotel was not fully booked they would not change the room, although I had booked for a standard room. At one point while speaking to Expedia on a phone conversation I was letting expedia Expedia know about the bad service, the staff at the hotel started screaming at me for mentioning that this was the worst hotel I had come to. I will never recommend booking anything through...

“The only thing I did not like is in the kitchen you can’t see if it’s on high medium or low. Also, the stove don’t have no degrees on it cause you turn it on you don’t know if it’s on 402 5350 so it was very hard to cook and that is the reason why I got the room”

“The ladies at the front desk were awesome! Smooth check-in and friendly conversations. The room on the other hand was not so great. Smelled like cigarettes right when I walked in (no smoking room btw). Shower didn’t work nor did the living room TV. Fridge was room temperature. Thankfully the king bed was up to par.”
