Location & Surroundings
Nosara Hideaway is located in the quiet mountains of Naranjal, Guanacaste, surrounded by tropical dry forest, open countryside and wide mountain views. Sámara is about 30 minutes by car, while Nosara and Guiones are around 47 minutes away - making this a peaceful base for guests who want to enjoy the coast but come back to cooler evenings, nature and complete tranquility.

On one side of the property you’ll find forest where monkeys are often heard and seen; on the other, open fields with horses. On clear days, distant volcanoes can sometimes be seen on the horizon, and at night the low light pollution makes the stars especially beautiful.

The Cabin
A private mountain-view cabin with its own terrace, designed for quiet mornings, wildlife watching and relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the peninsula.

Bedroom & Amenities
Queen-size bed, blackout curtains, air conditioning, hot water, Smart TV, Starlink Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, hairdryer, toiletries, wall fan and a workspace. An additional folding bed is available for extra guests for $35 per night.

Small Extras
A fresh fruit plate, tea and coffee are provided for our guests. For stays of 5 nights or more, we also include a complimentary bottle of Italian wine.

Food
Breakfast is available, as well as additional meals on site.

Arrival & Parking
Self check-in is available, and free private parking is provided on the property. Google Maps and Waze can be used to reach us, and we also send detailed driving instructions a few days before arrival for extra peace of mind.

The final part of the drive follows a mountain road. Regular cars can and do use it, although 4x4 vehicles and motorcycles are more common. The road is wide and maintained about every six months, but some bumps and potholes are normal, especially after heavy rain. We recommend taking it slowly and following the detailed directions we send before arrival.
