The kitchen has everything you need and the two bedrooms are perfect for four guests. There’s outside space too, the shared garden with picnic benches for alfresco dining or a glass of wine - a lovely spot to relax on a sunny evening.
A feature of The Maltings are the three jetty cottages directly over the bay. Perfect for dining, a relaxing retreat or to watch the birds that visit Budle Bay.
The property is well located for Bamburgh’s shops, cafes, pubs and of course, the beach. Don’t miss the Grace Darling Museum and of course the iconic Bamburgh Castle. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands to view sea birds and grey seals from Seahouses (3 miles) and Holy Island. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse.
