Pulito, nuovo campo ecologico: Hidden Treasure on Golden Pond

Campo moderno in riva al lago privata arroccato su una collina circondata da alberi con scorci del bellissimo Great Pond!

Sii tra i primi a soggiornare in questo campo di fronte all'ovest, costruito di recente, arroccato su un pendio a 275 piedi di distanza dallo splendido Great Pond. Godetevi splendidi tramonti e albe in un ambiente sereno a soli 1 ora da Portland, Maine. Il campo è appollaiato su una collina circondata da alberi alti con il lago scintillante sotto. Accedi alla riva percorrendo un sentiero che si snoda lungo la collina attraverso i boschi direttamente sul lago con il tuo bacino privato! Godetevi una giornata di nuoto, picnic a pranzo, pesca o anche un pomeriggio durante l'ascolto dei lombi. Se volete esplorare l'incantevole grande laghetto d'acqua - potete noleggiare kayak o lanciare la vostra barca al lancio della barca pubblica e percorrerla al nostro ormeggio privato.

All'interno del luminoso campo moderno, troverete una cucina completamente attrezzata e un salotto con 3 porte scorrevoli in vetro che si aprono su un ponte esteso dotato di una griglia a gas - ideale per cenare e bere all'aperto o semplicemente per rilassarsi sotto il sole O stella che guarda la notte.

Il campo ha 3 camere da letto e un divano letto - perfetto per 6 ospiti ma potrebbe ospitare 8 persone. Al piano inferiore troverete una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale, un bagno con una doccia stand-up e un divano letto queen-size nel soggiorno. Al piano superiore ci sono 2 camere da letto - una con 2 letti singoli (con cassetti) e l'altra con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno con vasca.

Un passo da campeggio, trova il caratteristico villaggio dei laghi di Belgrado che vi riporterà nel tempo con il suo negozio di antiquariato e gelati. Inoltre, nelle vicinanze, trovare sentieri escursionistici, Winterberry Farm (ottime torte fatte in casa e chutneys e marmellate) e Belgrade Country Club per gli amanti del golf. Nella vicina Waterville (30 minuti d'auto) troverete negozi, ristoranti e Colby College con il suo bel Museo d'Arte (gratuitamente al pubblico); Un'escursione perfetta per una giornata di pioggia. Augusta è anche nelle vicinanze (20 minuti di auto) per lo shopping e un cinema.

Quiet, restorative oasis

This is our second year at this lovely lakeside home. The views and spacious location make this a family favorite! The rooms and beds are very comfortable and the porch was a lovely place to visit, listen to the loons and recharge for the coming school year. Ross is a superb host and we love his home!

Truly a hidden gem!

What an amazing place to spend our week at Great Pond! ( another hidden gem! Accommodations were A plus! Beautifully decorated and furnished! So cozy and yet spacious. All needs meet and boxes checked! Secluded location for privacy. Enjoyed the waterfront and taking walks! Short trip to Belgrade lakes village and also Waterville and Augusta. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely gorgeous

Amazing location with lake access. The cabin is beautiful with extreme attention to detail. Comfortable bedrooms with beautiful open spaces to enjoy the outdoors. The host is thoughtful and a great communicator. Essentials provided-including mosquito repellent are a definite plus. We rented kayaks from Wells and Sons and they delivered them to the cabin. We were able to enjoy the lake fully.... Belgrade is just a few minutes away with nice restaurants and grocery basics. Nice hiking trails around.

Quiet, lovely spacious home on Great Pond in Belgrade Lakes

This was a picture perfect location for our annual week away on Great Pond! The dock and pulley system worked beautifully for a boat and the kids enjoyed yoga on the dock, overlooking a gorgeous cove on Great Pond. We hope to return to this lovely home next year!

Two Weeks In Nirvana

As was the case the prior two years, Ross's camp was in perfect condition. It is a great feeling to know that when show up for your stay, you don't have to spend any time running back out to purchase items that aren't provided, especially kitchen utensils. Good

House was very roomy and large enough for our family. Wish there were a few more cabinets and closets. The outside deck and dock was very large for all of us; however there was no ladder for getting in and out of the water. Also the path to the dock was difficult for my husband and myself (path was steep in some places) but the kids did a lot better. The owner was very responsive to our questions and got back to us quickly. Overall it was a good place to stay.

Great week in Maine!

Great week at the lake cabin. Well stocked - just wish we would have had better weather! Maine was in the middle of record rainfall but we found fun anyway! Bar Harbor, Freeport, horseback riding, great seafood/dining and the zoo! Tks again Ross.

Peaceful Cabin

This was our first time staying in Belgrade and we fell in love with this quaint little town. We are so happy that we rented Ross' cabin for the week. It was absolutely perfect and just so cozy. We had the most relaxing stay and loved everything about it. Loved the little nature trail down to the water (our son loved it, too!), we watched the boats, ducks and loons daily. Ross is an amazing host and responded to my questions almost immediately. We hope to return next year!!

Take Caution

Our family enjoyed our time at this home up the hill from the lake! However, I will say RENTERS BEWARE of Ross’ extra “fees” on top of the generous cleaning fee included in the booking. I know for fact when stripping the beds at the end of our stay, there were no large stains on sheets or I would have remidied them. Though multiple claims of different fluids on sheets came a week later and we ended up paying for replacement sheets and extra cleaning fees. We were also accused of stealing and charged for an area rug (lmao), which he did not even look for but was later found in one of the closets. Take pictures when you leave the home is my suggestion. Much more accommodating places, that are closer to the water, will be chosen in the future for our family.

Fastest two weeks ever!

This was the second year in a row renting Ross's camp, and this year we stayed for two weeks. As we expected, the camp was in perfect condition and we didn't want for anything when it came to any amenities. Many previous renters have complimented how helpful Ross is when called upon and that was especially the case with us. My sister and brother-in-law towed their waverunner up to the camp for the second week of our stay only to find that the battery was dead. Without even asking him, Ross took it upon his self to call around until he was able to find a replacement battery. I could probably count on one hand with a few fingers left over the amount of owners who would of went to that length to please their renters. Needless to say, we will be returning to Ross's camp, without question. Thanks again, Ross.

Wonderful stay on Great Pond

We’ve spent decades renting various locations in the Belgrade area. This place has been by far the nicest place we’ve found. Very clean and extremely well stocked. I usually bring sheets and kitchen utensils but there really was no need for that. Having AC was wonderful. The house is very quiet. Easy for early risers to do their thing while others slept undisturbed. Property owner is very attentive to details and great with communicating expectations. Will undoubtedly return in the future.

Cabin on Great Pond

Nice property, path from dock to cabin is a little steep and longer than expected. We prefer closer to the lake but it wouldn't prohibit us from staying there again. The layout of the cabin was perfect for our group of 5 adults.

Wonderful Lake Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Ross’ camp. We felt so comfortable there with all the amenities. My 2 year old had a blast walking down to the water and seeing all the chipmunks. The lake was crystal clear and refreshing! You could tell Ross and his family put a great deal of thought and love into this camp. Ross was wonderful to work with — would answer my emails within a few hours and gave his cell number in case we needed anything. Wish I could give this more than 5 stars!!

One of a kind vacation week

I rented Ross's camp for my brother and sister and their family. I have been vacationing in Belgrade Lake's for a few years now and have never gone back to a previous rental......THAT IS ABOUT TO CHANGE. My family gushed about how well equipped Ross's camp was, not to mention how stylishly furnished it was. Also, kudos for how quickly Ross responded to a minor plumbing issue. We will now anxiously wait for the calendar to open up for 2022. Thank you again for a great week.
