“Villa Boscardi was great. It is a bed and breakfast so there aren’t resort amenities except for a plunge pool which was nice. The owner and Pauline were fantastic. Breakfast was good and plentiful and very well prepared. Our only problem with anything was that the shower didn’t get very hot. It wasn’t cold but wasn’t hot either. Other than that, everything was perfect.”

“Sir Angel’s Guesthouse started as a longtime Belizean family home, and it is even named after the patriarch, Angel. Communication while booking was timely and accurate. Upon arrival, my booked ride from the airport was prompt, and the driver gave me a local tour en route to the Guesthouse! I was warmly greeted at the guesthouse by the owner, and even introduced to a family member! At the Guesthouse, I enjoyed being “in Belize”—- I was at a small, family-owned lodging for my first two days...

“Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again. The property appears quite old and, more importantly, was not as clean or well-maintained as expected, especially considering the price. There were noticeable stains on the walls (fingerprints, black marks, etc, stains on the couch, stains on the refrigerator, and exposed wall plugs. The kettle was extremely old and rusted, to the point that I did not feel comfortable using it. The lock on the balcony door was not functioning properly, and...
