Perfect for families and small groups, this charming cottage sits directly across the street from a public beach, boat launch, playground, and community courts for basketball, volleyball, and tennis. Whether you're here for summer fun, fall foliage, or winter skiing, you'll find the perfect balance of comfort and adventure right outside your door.

Inside, the home features two cozy bedrooms upstairs and one on the main level, along with a full bathroom on the first floor. The living area is bright and welcoming, with comfortable seating, a dining table for meals or board games, and a fully equipped kitchen ready for whatever you’re cooking up. Thoughtful touches throughout make this cottage especially family-friendly, including plastic tableware for kids, a collection of books and games, and plenty of space to play both inside and out.

When it’s time to explore, grab one of the kayaks provided and head across the street to the boat launch, or spend the afternoon lounging at the beach. In the evening, gather around the fire pit for s’mores under the stars. The location is unbeatable—you’re just a five-minute walk from the heart of downtown Bellaire, home to Short’s Brewing Company and a variety of shops and restaurants. Torch Lake, one of Michigan’s most stunning inland lakes, is only a ten-minute drive away, and the year-round recreation of Shanty Creek Resort is just six miles down the road.

This home is designed for every season. In the summer, enjoy lake days, hiking trails, and evenings on the patio. In the fall, take a color tour through the vibrant northern woods and come back to relax with a glass of wine or hot chocolate. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
