As a bonus, you will have access to a wood burning fireplace in the living room to warm up after those long days on the slopes. Heading up to the 2nd level, you will find another bedroom and bathroom. Staying here, you'll be right in the heart of Schuss Mountain at Shanty Creek for great skiing and beautiful scenic golf. Less than an hour away you'll find Alden, Elk Rapids, Traverse City, Charlevoix, and Petoskey. Other trips that are about 1 1/2 hours away include Mackinac Island and Sleeping Bear Dunes.
