“We were only there for one night and day…. Although everything is very outdated…. Vince and his crew were lovely. We decided to stay and have some wine and dinner and thank God we did…. Vince works very diligently in his kitchen, and the staff worked just as hard . We had a lovely dinner and some nice wine and when we weren’t sitting around the bar, laughing with the locals, we are in the family room sitting around the fireplace with the locals. “The on-site restaurant named Tempestas was excellent and a huge plus for our 3-night stay. We ate there every night and were pleased with the food, service, atmosphere and the prices were reasonable. On a broader note, the hotel was nice, staff very helpful and I should mention that the breakfast one of the best I've had on 3 continents, aided by a hostess who was friendly and took lots of pride in serving hot food and keeping the food and coffee fresh.”
