Beautiful property, adorable house, one weekend wasn’t enough!
We loved our stay at Bellheim! Mr. Grof was very friendly and accommodating, had great communication and obviously takes great pride in his home and land. We didn’t feel like a short weekend was enough to enjoy the whole property! We’ll definitely want to plan a return trip!

Another Great Trip
We are Bellheim regulars and make it out from Houston once or twice a year with our three young children. We had another lovely visit. The house is well-appointed and we really don't need to bring much besides food and clothes. There are even toys and books in one closet, step stools and potty seats for little ones. We got very lucky with the wild flowers on this trip and took some beautiful pictures. We will be back again soon!

We had a wonderful and relaxing getaway. The house and property were very well maintained and organized. We really enjoyed the screened in front porch at the cabin and all the trails we could explore along Piney Creek.

Absolutely Perfect
Our entire family converged here for a wedding in the area. There were more than enough beds for everyone we didn’t even need the cabin. It was so cute down there I wish we had needed it! This property was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space to roam, all the fishermen were happy, our bird watching sidekick was readily entertained. The owner and his niece are fabulous. Absolutely perfect place.

This Place is a Gem
My family and I just love this place! We discovered it a few years ago, and it has now become a tradition. My boys enjoy fishing and exploring the back of the property with their ATVs. I enjoy the view from the back porch where I can enjoy a glass of wine while bird watching. The host is most gracious, and communication is a breeze. We’ll mostly definitely be back!

Wonderful for Kids
This was our 7th ot 8th trip to Bellheim with our kids. We always have a lovely visit, and enjoy spending some time in nature away from the city. The lovely hammock out by the pond is my happy place. We will be back again soon.

Wonderful Stay!
This property is so charming, beautiful and relaxing. Pictures don't do it justice! Owner was great communicating. We fished, UTV'd the property, hiked, saw cows and beautiful birds! Played ping pong and darts. The garage has a great set up. Spent some time shopping in nearby Bellville. We definitely will be back. Loved it!!!

Kutch Weekend
What a beautiful location!! We fished, road 4-wheelers in the back 90 and spent quality time together as a family. The environment was so very relaxing and peaceful!! Would recommend this location to anyone!! We will be back next year for sure with the grandkids this time. They would have gone nonstop with all the games, the play house and the sandbox.

Worth it, you’ll see.
When I tell you I knit pick and read every review before I book anything and even then I am suspicious it won’t be good, but this place was everything and then some! Our family absolutely loved how homey it felt, how spacious it was, clean, and y’all there was labels on everything!! Check in and out instructions were super easy to follow. The kids enjoyed the pond, the paddle boat, we fished until we couldn’t stand the heat. We explored the small cabin in the back, super cute btw, but you must be brave to go out there at night. I would say the only dissatisfaction we had was not hearing any owls (totally a joke). We are already planning to book again in the winter and cannot wait to come back!

Our family gathers every year to celebrate three birthdays at a location that meets the needs of several age groups. Bellheim provided a relaxing experience & numerous activities to keep the younger family members entertained. The owners have anticipated all a guests needs & is conveniently located less than five minutes from Bellville which has good shopping & restaurants.

Amazing stay at Bellheim
We had an amazing time at Bellheim. The property pictures speak for themself as the house sits on probably 10 acres with a pond and there is a dirt track that leads back to the rest of the acres near Piney Creek. Our two teens had time to unplug and connect with nature while still having a small town close by for any extra necessary items. We fished in the pond for hours. Kermit was SUPER responsive as a host, on the 2nd day there was an issue with the AC on very hot Texas day and he responded and had an AC guy out within 30 minutes to fix it up and we were good to go. We will 100% look to come back again one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in, we are big fans.

Great place to stay!
We thoroughly our stay at Bellheim! The house was very clean and spacious and had all the amenities imaginable. We fished, we grilled, we played horseshoes, ping pong, etc! Everything was so organized and neat. Cabinets were labeled so I knew where everything went! Kermit was great at communicating and keeping us up to date on everything. My husband caught a lot of small bass, and while my son didn't catch near as many, he caught the biggest...a 2.5 - 3 pounder! Only negative was the pond had a lot of hydrilla and lily pads, so it was hard not to get snagged, depending on what type of lure you were using.

Country bliss
I have been coming to this property for several years now and will continue to come always. The memories that Kermit and his family have allowed us to have on this property will been talked about for the rest of our lives. This place is more amazing than i could ever explain. Fishing, boating, swimming, dog chasing us, dog falling off dock and can't swim, riding and walking while exploring the land and nature is what we love the best. We enjoy ping pong on our down time, listening to the sound system while we prep meals, and relaxing on the porch. It is the ultimate vacation that we look forward to most every year. Kermit is an amazing person and so thoughtful. Thanks again for the memories and sharing your home with us. Talk to you again soon.

Great Country Getaway
The property is beautiful, absolute paradise. Kids love the space and variety of activities - play house/sandbox for young ones, room to roam and lake for older kids. Fishing in the pond is terrific. House is very well stocked and clean; grounds are very well kept. We've stayed in a number of vrbo homes over the last few years - this is the only one we have stayed at twice, and we're looking forward to returning a third time.

Can't get better than this place
If you could give a 6 star rating this place would clearly meet that rating. The owner goes to such great extent to ensure that every need or wish is made possible. This is our second time to enjoy this lovely property. We will surely return again and again. This property has it all, fishing, trails, paddle boats, ping pong matches and even a great area to sit around the fire to enjoy smores. The acreage is lovely with array of different trees and full of birds to listen to as you enjoy for morning coffee on the porch overlooking the pond. You will not be disappointed so go check it out.

Had everything we needed, loved the rooms, very clean and comfy. Lots of space for the kids to run and play outside. Did some paddle boating, canoeing, enjoyed the outdoors overall. Very nice place to come back to in the summer!

Lovely property, bountifully stocked
We had so much fun here! The house has a lot of sleeping space for the size. It’s older but very clean and with everything you could possibly want or need, plus everything is exceedingly well organized and labeled, answering questions we didn’t know we had. Same with the communication from Kermit, which gave us all the information we could possibly need. We would definitely stay again/recommend to friends.

Awesome house!
This property was amazing, so much to do and the ping pong table was a huge hit! Hog Heaven is amazing, the creek was beautiful and the kids and adults had a blast! This home is fully stocked and we had everything we needed and more.

Beautiful place for a getaway
This is a wonderful place for a family vacation. We spent a relaxing week and enjoyed it so much that before the week was over we booked a week next spring. The house had everything we needed, including a well equipped kitchen, nice linens and towels, and comfortable beds. The deck seating area off of the downstairs bedroom is a nice place to spend mornings and evenings especially when it rained. We spent a lot of time outside. The ponds were low from the dry summer, but we still spent several days in the paddle boat on the large pond fishing and caught a lot of bluegills and a few bass. The back part of the property is beautiful with a lot of space to explore. We spent a fun night at Hog Heaven and woke up to the nice sounds of nature. The owner, Kermit, provided great communication and was very quick to respond to questions.

Texas Hospitality at it's Finest!
This was our family’s 5th time at Bellheim since 2017! We didn't think it could get any better, but the owners continue to improve the experience and amenities! Our family gathering ranges in ages from 8 years old to 85, and there is something for everyone! Easy booking, and excellent communication. Every detail of your stay has already been thought of and taken into care to make sure it will be the best and most comfortable stay possible; which always leaves us wishing we had more time at Bellheim!

Beautiful and relaxing country stay
It was beautiful! We brought our 4-wheeler and mule and the kids had a great time. The ping pong table was great fun. The day we were to leave, the transformer blew a fuse so there was no electricity. Things happen. It was our last day there so it didn’t interrupt us too much. All in all, Beautiful and relaxing.
