Great winter escape
Wonderful stay on a great tree farm. The house was great for our family of 4 (two adults, two small kids) and our oldest loved the games the house had available to play with. We had a fantastic stay and everything went really smooth. Super easy check in and out and great communication with the owners. There was zero issue for us, but if you have noise sensitive folks, we did notice it was hard to find a quiet corner with others doing things in the house. Definitely not a critique, just the nature of the space.

Beautiful Get Awat
We were looking for a place to stay with an infant (our first time traveling with a baby) while my Husband and Daughter attended a conference. Being from a farm, we wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. This definitely checked all of our boxes. The host was very helpful and responded to all of my questions from the time we booked until we left. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Quiet spacious property
House was very clean. Relaxing home base for touring the area. Would book again and recommend the stay. The owners were accommodating for a late arrival and left lights on for us. 2 thumbs up!

Great girls weekend!
We had a great weekend staying here for girls weekend and being able to visit casino close by and spending the day in Walnut Grove for the Laura Ingalls Wilder pagent! It was nice for a group of 5 to have our own space and kitchen! Just a few suggestions would be a fan or two as the AC didn't cool the entire house to our liking! The one twin bed you could feel the metal bars on, and the queen on the main make sure the wheels are locked in place (it tipped to one side at first) gave us a good laugh though! 🙂 Mel was quick to respond when we had questions!

Thank you for your feedback. We truly appreciate it so we can make changes to accommodate everyone. We have added a fan and a mattress topper to the upstairs twin bed. Along with stoppers on the wheels of the queen bed on the main level. Thank you again for staying and happy you enjoyed your girls weekend together!

Stay in SW Minnesota
We needed a place to stay for a family reunion. This fit our needs. It was comfortable, secluded, with all the right amenities. Our immediate family stayed here together and were able to eat and catch up before heading out to the larger family events. The pool table was a real hit for us too!

We didn't spend much time there , hunting in the morning - lunch - hunting in the afternoon. We went out to the local establishments for dinner and back to watch a little TV and then to bed

It was very quiet and peaceful. House was inviting and clean. Well lit.
Had a wonderful time! Pool table was fun. However one ball is missing from the group. Beds were very soft. Downstairs bed was on frame with wheels and rolled a littlle unexpectedly. Had a great time at the winery next door would visit again

Thank you for this info! We just had the floor redone - removed the carpet and put the hard surface floor down. You are the first guests to stay with the new floor. I will be getting a rug to put under the bed so this does not happen again! We will also check out which ball is missing and get that too! Thanks!!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The recommendation of a winery close by was accurate. We enjoyed our meal there. We are considering staying there at other times of the year.

Perfect for a quick get-a-away weekend
We really enjoyed the winery near by and visiting Fort Ridgely. Owners did a great job communicating check in and check out details and providing activities to do near the location.

Asian Beetles!
The house suited our needs. The only complaint I have is about the Asian beetles that were in every room of the house. Very unnerving when the land on you when trying to sleep. Owners were aware of the problem. We will not be returning.

Thank you for staying with us. We spray every Spring and Fall for the asian beetles. It is too early to spray yet this Spring but will be within the next month. We can agree with you that they are less than desirable. Unfortunately, they are just a common insect in this area of Minnesota.

Something Different
