“Quaint, but without all the downsides that quaint can be in England,--highly recommend. Staff was great, food and service very good. Only 'bug' was having to carry bags up 3 floors to room.....again highly recommend”

“The room was just what we wanted, with two twin beds. The wi-fi worked easily, and the bathroom was very up-scale. The lounge felt welcoming, which expanded the size of our living space. We loved the breakfast, which was both professionally put together and personalized. We felt welcomed by the hosts, who gave us excellent directions and suggestions. A very pleasant stay!”

“Spacious off-street parking behind the hotel. A warm welcome and efficient staff. Clean, neat room and ensuite. Lots of hot water, soft towels. Comfortable bed. Nicely cooked breakfast with excellent eggs, bacon and toast, coffee and juice (other options available). Staff deserve a special commendation - there was an unexpected power cut in that part of town in the morning, but they managed to serve an excellent hot breakfast with no fuss or delays. Thank you!”
