“Staff were friendly and welcoming on arrival and lovely to speak to throughout our short stay. The hotel is immaculately kept and tastefully furnished. Our room was spacious (family room with a queen bed and bunk beds for our 2 children was a dream for them) and had great amenities. Bathroom was clean and basic toiletries were supplied along with shaving and dental kits. Enjoyed our short stay and would highly recommned.”

“Very spacious and clean single room. Equipped with fridge and a fan which were both very welcome on the extremely warm conditions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is undergoing full refurbishment by dedicated owners. Extremely good value for money also.”

“It was great value for our one night stay. If you’re looking for a location near the beach, train station and the bus stop to Ryde or Ventnor then it’s great. The rooms were small but the bed was comfy and we had tea and coffee provided in the room as well. Check-in and check out were really straightforward and everyone very friendly. Many thanks.”

“We made an independent booking with an agent. We were not aware that this hotel caters predominantly for coach parties. There were around 200+ coach party guests and only a handful of individual bookings. Our bedroom, on the third floor, was spacious but had no chest of drawers to unpack clothes into. The room and bathroom were clean, but very old fashioned. There were just two electric sockets which were used for the tv and kettle. No other sockets. Rooms were serviced at irregular intervals....

“This is very run down, brilliant location but a tired hotel. I had no kettle in my room despite having tea coffee and mugs, this was rectified once I brought it up. The staff are fantastic, the hotel itself is just very tired.”

“We arrived at the hotel late afternoon to find the on site car parking full. We parked on the street outside, checked in, and was given a parking permit for the space we used. We were only there for a couple of nights, and didn't need to move the car until we left. The lady at the reception took us up to our room and showed us in. A little quirk of the hotel is that all the rooms have names that begin with a "G", ours was Gleeful. The room was minimally furnished and the bathroom fairly basic....

“Really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, modern and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was very good with plenty of choice. The staff were all friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the free parking permit was a really useful bonus. The hotel overall felt well looked after and in a great condition. “Loved our stay and so did our dog, especially the doggie sausage for breakfast! I made full use of the swimming pool and hot tub and had it to myself. Room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will come back.”
