Easy access to SHARC and SR Village

The house fit our family needs well. It is within easy reach of the SHARC and The Village. it was clean and tidy. The Hot Tub worked only one out of four days and the rental mngt agency did refund a daily amount which we appreciated very much. East Butte is a great little neighborhood with friendly home owners all around. Be sure to take your own storage containers, foil, saran, etc.

lovely decks

two families with kids & dogs. we enjoyed the property and the various decks. Enjoyed watching deer pass by every evening. close to SHARC but with COVID19 it wasn't as easy to go with the limitations, but still was able to reserve lap swimming for mornings and went to SHARC with kids once.

This property was immaculate, comfortably furnished, and well equipped for cooking and an extended stay. Our four teenagers appreciated the easy half mile walk to SHARC, and it is only a mile from the village. We liked that it is right off Beaver Drive and not a maze of roundabouts away from the main road. There were definitely some maintenance issues that should be addressed before another renter stays. The wifi never worked reliably during our five day stay, in spite of calls to the management office and Bend Broadband. This did not go over well with the aforementioned teens and even less so with one adult who needed to work and had to spend the day at Starbucks instead. There was a major leak in the master bath tub faucet, at the rate of two gallons an hour. We were able to drown out the noise by turning on the fan and closing the door, but it still was an embarrassing waste of resources, not to mention a huge cost to whoever is paying the water bill. Management indicated that they were aware of the leak and chose to wait to fix it. The showerhead in the downstairs bathroom fell off during use numerous times. Lights in the very high ceiling over the dining table were burned out. Fortunately, all of these things are fixable, which would greatly improve this lovely home. As one other renter reviewed, the downstairs can get very cold at night, and we didn't find the fireplace fan to be helpful in that regard. We would rent this property again with assurances that the above issues were resolved as it really was great in every other way.

Beautiful and private home

This home is perfect for a large family gathering. The fireplace makes the home feel warm and cozy and the hot tub is the perfect place to end a busy day of playing in the snow. There were only 2 negatives I found: 1) the master bathroom is shared with the main floor. So in the evening if some wanted to stay up later, they used our bathroom and often woke up me and my 2 yr old. 2) the heating/cooling is a little funky between floors. It would be nice and warm on the main floor, but really cold on the bottom floor where the remaining bedrooms are. Other than that, we would definitely consider staying here again.
