Adorable 800 sq. ft., downtown pet friendly 1918 bungalow is the perfect location for your next vacation in downtown Bend, Oregon.  One block to festivities in Drake Park for and to float and paddleboard the Deschutes River.

Warm and inviting decor, built in 1918, fully remodeled and furnished with modern decor with a "Bend" twist.  Living room with gas fireplace, 55" smart TV, comfortable sofa and easy chairs.   Queen main room with a smart 45 inch smart TV, carpet, wood paneling throughout.  Queen guest room with full bathroom nearby.  Comfortably and cozy living room with sofa, chairs, gas fireplace, ductless heating and air conditioning, fenced backyard with covered outdoor dining for four.  Bring your dog to enjoy the fenced back patio area with prior approval and pet rent paid.

Pivotal location for all that Bend has to offer in a very quiet neighborhood to relax and enjoy! Easy access to trails; ride your mountain bike to the Phil's trailhead, road bike out the front door to experience our beautiful scenic highways, paddleboarding and floating the Deschutes River, hike our amazing trails.  Walk to all that downtown Bend, Oregon has to offer, boutique stores, pubs, breweries, fine dining, coffee houses, outdoor rental gear. This location and home is the perfect launching point for your next adventure or relaxation vacation to Bend.

Bring Fido, your fur baby is very welcome, with comfortable dog bed, pair of bowls, leash and refuse baggies provided.  Abacela wine and Bonsai Beans coffee upon arrival.  Dogs (only) permitted at this property with prior approval.  Pet rent is $50 and will need to be requested/paid/approved prior to your arrival.

Great Location!

The property location was exactly what we wanted, with access to the river and downtown. The outdoor space was great!There was a fan in one of the bedrooms. Suggestion would be to add one for the other, as sleeping was tough with the Bend summer temps.This is a great property for a group of 4!

Comfy & Clean!

The house was just as described in the listing and pictures. Plenty of space and comfortable for 2 adults and 1 teen. Loved having the washer and dryer. The covered back patio with grill was so nice! And we spent many mornings on the front porch drinking our coffee. We didn't get to use the firepit but wished we would have. Everything was really clean and felt fresh (I am super picky about cleanliness). My only negative feedback is regarding the property management more so than the property itself. First of all, there were no linens for the pull out couch so I am glad we didn't HAVE to use it. And secondly, we arrived in town 2 hours earlier than expected. We were sitting in our car in front of the property and could see in the windows that the cleaning crew was finished (a card and a bottle of wine were set up on the table). I tried calling the property management company several times with no answer. I had to message them through VRBO. They responded about 20-30 minutes later, saying that early check-in is not available but if it becomes available, she would let me know. We sat in the driveway in the car for another hour and a half waiting for 4pm. No one came or went from the property in that time so there was no reason we could not have been allowed early entry. That was irritating to say the least. But even more so, the code we were given for the door did not work so again, we had to wait. Other than these two issues, it was a good experience overall.

Best place & location

We loved this house! Best walking location in NW Bend- close to so much- shops, river, parks and amphitheater. Walked to a big show last night, strolled to restaurants, brew pubs and sunny parks. Comfy beds, great fenced yard and everything you need for a few days’ stay.

Lovely home - Great location

We had a wonderful time staying by the river in Bend. The house was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The house - Super clean, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and nice, sunny living room/dining room space. The Yard -great fenced backyard with covered table (so nice to have shade in the hot summer sun), BBQ and space for dogs to run. The yard is covered with woodchips so no mud or dirt for the dogs to get into. Location - 1 block from the river and Drake Park. Walk to downtown. Amazing restaurants easily withing walking distance. We will definitely be back.

Visiting Bend for wedding - and fun

The interior set up was perfect for my husband , our adult daughter and our lab. Beds very comfortable ,clean kitchen and nice living space. Location was excellent as we could walk to river paths , swimming and restaurants /brew pubs. The only con was that washing machine was not balanced and moved across bathroom floor to the extent of blocking the door! Also dishwasher not easy to start.Exterior not the most attractive but we overlooked that as the place was solid otherwise.

Great location for a visit to Bend

This small, updated bungalow is in the desirable area near Riverside park that allows you to walk to downtown or the cool places on Galveston Ave. The location is also easy to navigate to hike/visit some of the beautiful nature that Bend has to offer. I would definitely stay here again.

Great home, poor management

This is a beautiful home in the perfect spot, but a company is running it and lost its care. The yard was in terrible condition on our stay. The entire front and half of the back was covered in weeds while the other half was powdery dirt. The promised landscaper never showed. The dirt was a pretty big bummer since we were staying with our dog who got so dirty. There was also a ton of weed barrier that was peeling up through the remaining mulch. The other major complaint was the beds and seating. The beds are super soft and offered no support. Both of us (35yo) had very sore backs after trying both beds and ending up sleeping separately because you just fall to the middle. The chairs in the house were no better. We worked from this house and were in metal frame chairs with plastic bands holding you up. Some of the bands were broken. The other option was a stationary wooden bench breakfast nook which wasn’t too bad once you shimmied in and used the pads - assuming you’re an average/smallish person and can fit. The couch was low with high arm rests. The other chairs were low and reclined. There were other things that were inconvenient (ran out of toilet paper, clogged sink, difficult shower curtain, the washing machine walks and blocks the bathroom door closed, no dog bags, WiFi failed on video calls, etc.). I never leave bad reviews, and we stay in a LOT of vacation rentals. This was just too many things that we had to deal with and wasn’t an enjoyable stay.

Bend bungalow

This property is clean and close to downtown. It has shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Also dish soap, dishwashing soap and laundry detergent. The kitchen is well equipped- except for a strainer. It is an old property that has had some updates. The bed comfort was good. The bed in the smaller room squeaks with any movement.

Great Walkable spot

We loved this place! Great size and really comfy. It was walkable to downtown, the river trail and amazing park right around the corner. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. It’s pet friendly, even providing a bowl, bed and leash if needed. The only slight negative is the backyard is primarily dirt so if it had rained, it would have been messy for the dog coming back into the house. Otherwise highly recommend and hope to come back!

Eclipse-ceptional!

We came to view the annular eclipse and found your home to be exactly what we were looking for. Very clean, and I especially appreciated the stainless steel and ceramic cookware and utensils (I am celiac and cannot use cookware with any kid of coating or made from plastic). The location is exceptional and we will definitely be coming back!!

Great location

Stayed here for 2 nights with the family. Very cute home and in an amazing location. Down the block fron drake park and 10 minute walk to downtown bend resturants and stores. Back yard was nice to sit and overall a great place.

Great little place!

This place was very cute and cozy! A great place to come and go while bustling around town. The house is very walkable to restaurants, breweries, downtown, and Drake Park. We would definitely come stay again!
