Welcome to Middle Sister Bungalow! The Middle Sister Bungalow is the middle unit of three attached but completely independent homes in this renovated, unique and historic triplex. A classic example of early 1900's living, you'll love having Bend at your front door. The grassy back lawn and dining area are perfect for summer picnics. Enjoy a dedicated parking space and a very charming bungalow home. Perch on your front stoop and watch Bend walk and roll by. Modern appliances, original fir floors, creative touches, historic details beckon you to experience Bend from this charming bungalow.

DOWNTOWN LOCATION - 245 NW Broadway
The Middle Sister Bungalow is in downtown Bend! Located in residential downtown, you will have the best of urban downtown living. This home is at the junction of the Old Mill, the Box Factory, downtown Bend and the Deschutes River. Everything is within a few minutes walking. Downtown Bend is about 4 blocks away. It's an easy walk to the Les Schwab Amphitheater concerts and if you've come to float the river, it's a 5 minute walk down to the river. Mt Bachelor and Cascade Lakes Highway access is easy and direct for winter and summer fun. The nearby grocery store is Market of Choice at the Box Factory/Old Mill and is only about a 10 minute walk away. This historic neighborhood offers amazing access to all the places you want to visit.

HEATING & COOLING & AIR FILTRATION
This tiny home has powerful gas fireplace in the living room that can heat the home in a few minutes. The triplex's central heat pump furnace provides heat and A/C to keep you comfortable year round! A powerful and portable HEPA room air filter is also provided for your comfort.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS and EN SUITE BATH
The Middle Sister Bungalow features a charming queen bedroom with a Casper mattress, vintage brass fixtures, high thread count sheets and European style bedding. Middle Sister's circular floor plan allows easy access to all rooms in the home from the queen bedroom. When the home was renovated in 2017, additional insulation and noise block was installed in all the walls around the home. It helps so, much but the home is not soundproof. The queen bedroom shares a wall with the kitchen of the unit next door.

Walk into the en suite bathroom and you'll find an adorable mini clawfoot tub perfect for a shower or cowboy soak. There is extra closet space with ironing tools and storage just outside the bathroom. Please request a Pack & Play or high chair please, if you need one, when you reserve and we will arrange for delivery to the home for you.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Prepare a feast in the modern galley kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes you'll need for an inspired meal. The petite dining area is perfect for 2. The kitchen has the cutest Smeg fridge, a vented gas range, European style washer/dryer combo machine and dishwasher. There are dining options in the backyard as well. Help yourself to any 1 of the 3 bistro dining tables or picnic on the grass. Feel free to use the shared propane BBQ for grilling up your favorite meals.

FREE PARKING & ELECTRIC CHARGING
Middle Sister has 1 FREE dedicated/assigned parking in the backyard. This space is large enough for Sprinter type vans. You are also welcome to trickle charge your electric vehicle over night while parked in back. There is a 120v power source at the parking area. If you plan to use the charger for your EV, you should bring your own extension cords (at least 20') and adapters, as they will be needed to reach the outlet. Your entry keypad is on the backdoor is under a covered porch. If you need street parking for a 2nd vehicle or larger RV, please obey parking signs and purchase parking using the QR code in the home, if needed.

600 MBPS WIFI & SMART TV
Free wifi, of course! Enjoy 600 mbps wifi and a 50 inch smart Google/TCL TV. The TV has over 800+ free channels. Bring your streaming subscriptions to watch your favorite shows. Unfortunately, there is no ethernet connection in the home.

SHARED SPACES
Each home has its own private front and rear entrance, so there are no shared entrances. Outdoor spaces are shared. Middle Sister shares walls with both bungalows next door. When the home was renovated in 2017, additional insulation and noise block was installed in all the walls around the home. The insulation helps so much, but the home is not soundproof.

QUIET HOURS
This home is nestled into a sweet and historic corner of downtown Bend. This is a peaceful area and is not appropriate for loud and late gatherings. Evenings are quiet but you may hear folks walking or driving by as they head for dinner at Jackson's Corner or coffee in the Box Factory. Due to shared walls, we ask all guests to be respectful of noise. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Thank you for respecting our neighbors and helping everyone enjoy this retreat in Bend.
