Our Home was completely remodeled in 2024, and we just decided to take it over from it's previous Property Manager.

Aspen Place is a 3-bedroom, 3-bath home situated along the banks of the Little Deschutes River, only 5 miles south from Sunriver Resort, which is the center for dining, shopping, sports rentals, miles of bike trails, Shark Water Park...

Bend, Oregon is 25 minutes away, there you can take in the Old Mill District, concert venues, art galleries, museums and dining attractions.

MT. Bachelor is a premier skiing, snowboarding, XX skiing and snow shoeing destination. Mt. Bachelor boasts a Nordic Center with groomed trails. Sports and the River
Just off the front deck is the Little Deschutes River, we invite you to use the paddleboards, inflatable boat and kayak. Life jackets are available in the garage, please dry after use and return to the sports shelf. We have two bicycles with helmets, additional bikes can be rented in Sunriver Village. Enjoy our horse shoe area, outdoor pickleball equipment, Table tennis, fishing rod and other outdoor games.

Gym
We have created a gym area in the garage where you will find a Total Gym, weights and stretch bands etc… The gym equipment is not intended for use by children, please supervise at all times.

Books
If you choose a book and cannot finish it, take it with you, or leave a book if you like! All cookbooks, hard cover, guide and labeled books remain at Aspen House for future guests.

Grill
Extra propane tank is in the garage, grilling utensils are in a kitchen drawer. Please clean grill and replace cover after use, cleaning products are in the grill cabinet.

Hot Tub (Please read the special instructions on left for the HOT TUB)
After a day exploring, our hot tub is a great spot to relax and enjoy the private river view. The hot tub if serviced weekly and preset to 103 degrees. Children under 12 may not be left unattended in the hot tub.

Fire Pits and fireplace. This is forest fire country and extremely vulnerable/high risk for Central Oregon.

Deck gas fire pit - please make sure propane is turned off when not in use, the glass is extremely hot.

Wood fire pit : with log seating must maintain a low fire profile to ensure safety. Please maintain caution and never leave unattended. After each use, extinguish and drown fire until completely out. Embers are a real risk and potential fire hazard. Please be mindful of this great concern.

Livingroom Gas fireplace-remote is located on the mantel and should remain there for safety reasons. There is also a gas stove in the River Room.

Smart TV/ You Tube TV/ Roku controller

There is Smart TV in each bedroom and one in the living room. You can access all streaming services for example Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney, Apple, Peacock and also YOU Tube TV for local channels and sports, …

Wildlife
This area is home to variety of wildlife, frequently seen here at Aspen House are elk, deer, otters, beaver, coyote and even an occasional bear!
There are both resident and migratory birds and water fowl, a true birders paradise!

My family of 5 stayed here for a week over the July 4th holiday and it was absolutely wonderful. The spacious 2-acre lot along the Little Deschutes river provided a sense of tranquility and privacy, making it the perfect retreat for a relaxing vacation. The house is stunning, impeccably clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the river, biking, playing horse shoes and roasting marsh mellows by the camp fire. There is also a hot tub, and the deck overlooking the river is stunning at sunset. Despite its quiet, secluded location, it is still close to restaurants and activities in Sunriver (7 – 10 minute drive) and about 20 – 30 minutes from downtown Bend. It is the perfect location for a peaceful getaway while still having convenient access to amenities and all the great activities that Central Oregon has to offer. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend this rental and hope to stay there again in the future."
