I have stayed in many different hotel in Benidorm,this hotel was really the one I wanted to stop in ,I always used to walk past and think why didn't I book that again,to be honest I have always been carefull in choosing so I have not been disappointed yet in other hotels but the CIMBEL is the best !

Skön och lyxig vistelse vid Benidorms rena strand.

Lyxig och skön vistelse under fyra dagar i oktober. Vi hade rum med utsikt rakt ut över havet. Fantastiskt härlig vy. Inget som skymde. Strandpromenaden gick precis utanför hotellet. Rent och välskött strand. Vi blev överraskade också över hur rent vattnet var. All inclusive - vilket innebar frukostbuffé, lunchbuffé och middagsbuffe. Ingen dryck ingick vilket vi blev förvånade över. Dock var priset på en flaska vatten (stor nog att vi kunde dela på) till maten överkomligt, ca 25 SEK. Vi köpte dock vatten i någon av alla de Supermarket som fanns i närheten för att ha resten av dagen - det hade vi inte räknat med när vi valde All inclusive. Maten var god, bra utbud. Dessertutbudet också bra och mycket välsmakande. Medelåldern av turisterna vi såg under första dygnen var 60+, vare sig vi var på hotellet, ute på strandpromenaden eller i gamla stan. En lite bisarr känsla i början. Sängen var stor och fast. Skön, om än något lite för hård i längden. Rummet i övrigt var ok. Stor garderob för förvaring. Badrummet var också rymligt. Det enda som var något störande var att vi hörde grannens TV väldigt väl en kväll/natt. (Kanske berodde det på hög ljudvolym!?) Flygbussens sista hållplats låg bara några hundra meter från hotellet vilket var väldigt smidigt!

Ideal location

Great hotel for the money. Lots of rooms under renovation when we stayed. They tried to put us in a room at the side of the hotel on a floor where 4 other rooms were being worked on. I went immediately to reception and stated I wanted a different room, at the front, on a higher floor. There was bit of frowning but they accommodated us and our room (804) was perfect. We were only expecting continental breakfast so nice surprise there was a hot buffet too AND prosecco should need a Buck's Fizz to get you going in the morning.

Bo på strandpromenaden

Som vanligt bor man bra på detta hotel. Hotellet ju direkt på strandpromenaden så man har koll på vad som händer på promenaden från balkongen. Bra frukost och middagen är också bra då man dels kan äta en trerätter samt även av buffen. Gamla stan ligger bra 200 meter från hotellet som bjuder på ra shopping.

Nice, comfortable and relaxing! Nice pool area!

My experience of the hotel was nice and relaxing! Room and facilities were clean and comfortable! Excellent restaurant and reception staff. My only 2 concerns I have about the hotel was that: One of the bar staff was rude to me when I ordered a cup of tea! I wanted one cup of tea but was given a pot of tea! I said I only wanted a cup. When I realised it was the same price for a cup and pot, I changed my mind and told the bar staff! The bar man pulled his face and lost his temper slightly with me. My only other concern is that I would expect the hotel reception staff to have more knowledge of transfers from the hotel to the airport. Even thought it would not concern them directly, I found their assistance with me on the day I was due to depart, not very helpful! One of them made it clear that they should not be phoning the transfer company on my behalf as it was ringing abroad which I understand, but I had no mobile as it had been stolen. Other than this, I found my experience at the hotel was wonderful and I would definately recommend it to a friend and would stay there again myself one day.

Nice hotel overlooking beach

Lovely hotel but food NOT 4* standard. no 'live' cooking unlike Sol Costa Blanca Hotel few yards down the road. If Anything the food was better at lunchtime but very poor in the evening! everything is lukewarm! Chips were vile ! Served up heavily breaded cold chicken breasts like you get in Iceland, four in a box for 99p! Desserts very uninspiring! if you are paying for 4* standard as you are at the Cimbel then stay at the Sol Costa Blanca Hotel! Stayed at the Costa Blanca for past few years but thought we'd have a change! BIG MISTAKE!!! Be warned!
