Rickett's Glen State Park! La nostra cabina è a solo 1/4 di miglio dalla testa del sentiero.

Abbiamo una bella cabina di 10 acri che confina con Ricketts Glen State Park. La cabina è a solo 1/4 di miglio dalla testa del sentiero ai piedi della montagna. Questo parco statale offre splendide viste tutto l'anno. Sia che tu voglia fare un'escursione sui 22 sentieri delle cascate, noleggiare un kayak sul lago Jean o rannicchiarti con un buon libro sulla spiaggia sabbiosa del lago, abbiamo la pace e la tranquillità che hai sempre sognato! C'è anche un'eccellente mountain bike, sci di fondo, racchette da neve, trail running e caccia. Vivrai una rilassante esperienza all'aperto nella nostra cabina. Abbiamo interni confortevoli con pavimenti in legno e tutti i comfort di casa tra cui aria condizionata, lavatrice e asciugatrice e TV. L'esterno ha molte aree salotto tra cui un anello di fuoco e portico posteriore coperto.
Si prega di notare che stiamo rinnovando la casa di montagna dei miei nonni che confina con il parco. Questa casa sarebbe meglio per un gruppo più grande 4-8 o una famiglia a cui piace più spazio. Dispone di 2 bagni, 3 camere da letto e una grande cucina, una camera familiare e una sala giochi. Ho una foto dell'esterno su questo sito. Farò una pagina aggiuntiva per questo quando i nostri lavori di ristrutturazione saranno completati nei prossimi 2 mesi.

  • The best hike if you like waterfalls, to be precise there are 22 of them. To see them all you will have to hike for about 7 miles. Dog friendly. I highly recommend you won't regret it! The hike is not very difficult, with accessional hikes up and down, but it is long considering that you will stop to admire and take pictures at most of the waterfalls. Bring lunch, snack and water if you planning to see all 22 waterfalls.

Great place to stay with an outdoor grill and fire ring. Close to Rickets Glen State Park which is why we chose this place. Everything we needed was provided in the cabin. Loved the privacy and location of the cabin. Highly recommend!

The cabin is very cute and cozy. The kitchen is a nice size for the size of the cabin. The sofa and recliner in the living room are very comfortable, as are the beds. The outdoor space with fire pit is great. The location is perfect as it feels like you are deep in the woods, but it is just a stone’s throw from convenient shopping and the state park. As a frequent VRBO renter, I gave some minor suggestions for improvement to the owner to which he was very receptive. We will be back!

It had been a long time since we rented a cabin. Enjoyed the quiet, nice fire pit with plenty of seating. The cabin was stocked with basics. Cabin was fairly clean. Enjoyed our stay.

Cozy cabin conveniently located

Lovely property, well maintained. Had all the basics and host provided basic paper products - TP, paper towels and Kleenex. Beds were comfortable and location quiet. AC worked well in 100 degree heat. Thank you for sharing your home.

Ricketts Glen Hiking

Great weekend in this cute cabin! This cabin is 1/4 mile from the Glen Lot trailhead parking lot and approx 4 miles from the Ricketts Main Entrance. Restaurants, store and ice cream is right down the street from the cabin. Cabin was as listed. In a peaceful and quiet setting.

Ricketts Glen getaway

The home has a lot of natural light and sheer window coverings, so our days got off to an early start. The layout of the home worked well for us, with all three sleeping areas on the second floor. We brought our own bedding and bath towels as instructed by the homeowner, but we did not realize we should also bring hand towels for drying dishes. You’ll want to bring your own spices, coffee and condiments if you plan to eat/cook in the home. Overall the cabin worked well for us, but the house could use a bit of deep cleaning (particularly the bathroom).The location of the cabin was very close to Ricketts Glen, which was perfect since hiking there was the focus of our trip. There was a nice fire pit within the wooded yard that surrounded the home, so that was lovely. (Note: 5 for 10 pieces of wood from the covered wood box if you use those in the fire pit.)Communication with the host was at a minimum during our stay, but we did not mind except when we had a plumbing issue one evening (at about 730 pm) and it took until about 9am to hear back from the homeowner. Fortunately the situation was fixed within hours of hearing back from the host. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Nice cabin, near all the things

It's a nice place, clean, with all the amenities you'd expect. Host had a fire going for me when I arrived which was much appreciated. Host was responsive and accommodating to my change of plans, having to leave a day early.

We loved this cabin

Our stay was awesome. The cabin was cozy and very welcoming. The property was amazing. It was very peaceful and the tranquility of the woods made it even better. We loved Rickets Glenn Park and the cabin is very close to the park entrance. Great communication with host. When we arrived, Jeff stopped by and introduced himself. We would come back in a heartbeat.

Love this cabin

I took my three teens for a long weekend to Rickettes Glenn to hike the waterfalls. This is a great location with multiple dining choices nearby. The cabin itself is lovely and very comfortable. We had a blast all around!

Peace and Quiet

This cabin was everything we thought it would be and more. The peaceful tranquility of the woods only helped to boost the cozy, relaxing environment of the cabin itself. If you're heading to Ricketts Glen yourself to do some hiking or water sports, or maybe just a quiet getaway in the woods, you have GOT to check this cabin out.

Beautiful!

This was the perfect vacation location for our trip to Ricketts Glen. The property is very close to the the state park. The cottage was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. Jeff was easy to work with and answered questions quicky. We will definitely be returning!
