“When we arrived to check in, the guy who was there, barely spoke any English & had to call someone to give us a key. I spoke to this person on the phone & he acted as if he didn’t know what hotels.com was. He finally found our reservation, but didn’t look at it and asked how many beds & everything that was in our reservation which we had already answered. We finally get our key & went to our room, it was an old sort of hotel room, it was clean. I went to take a shower & couldn’t get the cold...

“If your room is on the second floor, prepare to drag your bags upstairs (no elevator). We had dirty towels in the room, and the air conditioning was off in the room, so it was hot and the carpet was wet with humidity. The smell of mold hits you when you open the door. It might be the worst place I’ve ever stayed. Also, the front desk makes you pay for water with cash… we made our reservation while driving the same evening without seeing the property. “More than just updating is needed: The strong musty smell hits you as you walk into the room. The walk-in shower had dirty grout in the corners. Dark walls, dim lighting, and poor window treatments didn’t help. Staff were helpful in changing rooms, but no accessible choices so we had to climb stairs. Tub was clean but had no grab bars. Second room also had strong musty smelling.”

“This place is so clean and nice. Plus the staff are fantastic. Pool was great and the breakfast was delicious and a wonderful selection. We bought a s’more kit for the campfire which we really enjoyed too. Our stay was perfect and we will return. Thanks!”
