“De Vere Tortworth Court is a beautiful and unique mansion, completely surrounded by nature, built over 170 years ago. We came to visit the Cotswolds, and this accommodation worked out quite well (it is a 40 mins-1h drive from the main villages). Things I loved: All the shared areas are well kept and organized, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good as well as the bistro and the cocktail bar in the library room. “We had a late check in (out of staffed hours) and it could not have been easier. We made contact to make sure it was ok, on arrival we got access and our room key with no fuss. Located the room and it was all very fresh feeling and lovely. It being one of the hottest nights of the year and there no built in aircon (welcome to England), but the fan kept us cool and the whole set up was really good. Check out was very simple too.”

“L’hotel è accanto all’autostrada, posizione pertanto comoda anche per decisioni last minute, quando non si vuole più fare strada. Ampio parcheggio. Camera sufficientemente grande. Materassi comodi, ma cambierei i cuscini troppo molli. In bagno ottimi i prodotti per l’igiene, la porta di accesso è scorrevole e libera uno spazio per riporre i vestiti. “A very welcoming hotel. Plenty of. Character. Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean. Room spacious. Good breakfast could benefit from more gluten free options. Got a couple of free drinks at the bar instead of having room service. Spacious and very appealing grounds leading to the canal path with a very pleasant walk. Would gladly stay again.”
