“Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. “Our stay at Meadow Oak has been a pleasant one. The house is big and our room was on the top floor. Nice view from the two roof windows and comfortable room equipped with wide screen TV and video-player.In our room a bath equipped for a spa bath. Breakfast is nothing noteworthy as just milk and cereals are offered, plus room in the fridge and the use of the kitchen for cooking anything one would eat (bring your food). “This was our second stay at the Coach House and John is an excellent host. The property was immaculate and the lovely scones, jam and cream on arrival were a lovely touch. We would highly recommend staying here, it has all the amenities you need for a home-from-home stay and we will certainly be booking again! ”

“We had a wonderful stay in Cornwall. Helen was an absolute star our entire stay, from a cream tea ready for our arrival, to posting some forgotten inhalers back to us in Leeds after we had left! The accomodation is beautiful and quiet, with everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. We found it to be very peaceful and loved having the ability to cook our own food with the aid of plenty of supermarkets nearby. This accomodation is not one to be missed!”

“Lovely 4 night stay, very dog friendly and they even upgraded our room. Breakfast was fantastic, absolutely will stay here again as it’s a good gateway for the part of Cornwall we love the best. Staff very friendly, our room was well equipped with tea, coffee etc. towels were good quality and fluffy. I have absolutely no complaints at all.”

“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”
