“Very easy experience from booking as great communication from the owner. This self catering rental has everything you need from a comfortable lounge to a fully equipped kitchen, I even cooked a full English breakfast! Surprisingly quiet considering it was on the second floor of a 3 story block accessible up 2 flights of concrete stairs therefore would not be suitable for less able bodied people. Taxis cost roughly £5 into town, however, the local bus stop is close by. Ample off street parking...

“A nice place to have as a base while on holiday! My 3 year loved having a double bed to herself and a tv in her room (she had told me she didnt want to leave and the cats were fine at my mums)! I didnt watch the tv in my room as i struggled with the signal but the living room tv worked fine so it didnt matter”

“Tumbleweed Cottage is a beautiful hidden jem that myself and Kay will be visiting frequently for many years to come , Shaan and Sef made us feel so welcome and so comfortable with our stay we wished we could've booked for longer, The Rooms are beautiful with fabulous views of the garden . Breakfast was amazing and Sef's fresh summer fruit yoghurts are just scrumptious, We will be back again with our children (dogs) and walk through the village, May the Force be with You ”

“I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!”

“We had a delightful one night stay at Brampton Dales. The farm is at the end of a lane with beautiful views across the fields. We stayed in one of the upper floor rooms which cosy and welcoming (and surprisingly cool despite the heat wave). The bed was veru comfortable and we had a fantastic night's sleep. The breakfast was devine with freshly baked bread, home made jams and a generously sized English breakfast to set you up for the day. Staying at Brampton Dales is like staying in another time...

“A good place to stay for three nights. Breakfast is fine even if I would expect more warm dishes and drinks (milk, for instance). I can't understand why there are no smaller towels in the bathroom and why no hairdryer is provided. I brought mine as I had seen other reviewers. One more thing to take care of is the staff at the reception. All very young people who didn't know anything about the area and the town. That's a shame! ”

"Non male nel complesso. Le stanze sono abbastanza spaziose e luminose. Faceva molto freddo nella mia ed anche se ho chiamato due volte per alzare la temperatura è rimasta la stessa centralizzata. La colazione nella media sebbene le uova erano o immerse nel latte o nell’olio. Non tantissime opzioni senza glutine e lattosio. Nel complesso carino."
