“The room was clean and the staff were excellent. There is a large sitting room off the reception area that is a great place to meet people or just rest with your party during the visit, which is fantastic. The only challenge was the fire alarm in the room had a VERY bright light that ultimately had to cover with a towel to get off to sleep. Also, the windows aren't great at drowning out the road noise, which is a common issue in hotels on these busy roads, so be sure to bring ear plugs with you....

“Chosen originally for its location to Cambridge City centre with free parking and looked good in the pictures. We arrived early so decided to take lunch there. Very inexperienced staff member behind bar led to disjointed, incorrect and undercooked orders. Not a good start and due to this we never ate there again during the stay. The manageress offered free drinks to redress the food issues and who throughout the stay was pleasant and helpful. We later established that she was not the owner and...
