“We absolutely loved our stay at The Crown Guest house! Beautiful artwork everywhere, comfy and quiet rooms and a wonderful breakfast. The guest house is also a 3 minute drive from a mall with restaurants and shops, so very conveniently located. Highly recommended for your trip to the Eastern Free State! “There was a bit of a drain smell coming from the bathroom. The LEd lights under the facias and the room does not have "Block out" curtains so the lights at night disturbed my sleep a bit. Other than that, the place is fine ”

“Neat and clean house. Proactive and accommodating host. She gave us an early check in and late check out. 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with showers. Fully fitted kitchen and more than ample wood was provided for free. I will definitely recommend ”

“We enjoyed the trip there, the town and of course the hotel. From reception, which was quick and friendly to the bar and restaurant. Pity we didn’t have time for the pool which looked very inviting. ”

“The property is well maintained, comfortable and clean. The rooms are serviced daily and the host is quick to respond to any of your needs. There is no swimming pool or outdoor space on the property, however the location is within close proximity to hiking, cycling trails and an abundance of activities. +/-2km easy walk to the clarens waterfall.The main town square is within walking distance. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.”

“WiFi not good in the room downstairs Very dark, if you walked late, the last part to rhe Guesthouse The mud to get away, just around the corner - almost could net get through - don’t have a 4x4 Further it was a very nice stay at River Walk ”

“Die Unterkunft wurde uns von südafrikanischen Freunden empfohlen. Man müsse die Honeymoon Suite, ein Chalet etwas oberhalb, buchen. Bei unserer Ankunft hiess es dann, wir hätten die Honeymoonsuite mit Frühstück gebucht und das Chalet sei die Honeymoonsuite ohne Frühstück. Dass es zwei Honeymoonsuiten gibt, war nirgends ersichtlich. Unsere war dann ein etwas abgewohntes, grosses Zimmer mit Badewanne, ohne Dusche. Das Frühstück wird aufs Zimmer gebracht und ist sehr einfach. Das Personal ist...

“Room was great and David was most helpful in arranging things for us. Breakfast was a little inflexible as we needed to get on the road early to cape Town - so ended up forfeiting the breakfast as they could not do an early one at 730 or 8am”
