“Check in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, although it only had a small window there was a door to the courtyard we could open. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The shower was fine and there was a good beverage tray with biscuits. Breakfast was quite chaotic with food not being replenished and tables not being cleared and cleaned. However the cooked breakfast was tasty.”

“Great and helpful staff, really good beers and food, air con in the bar area which was fantastic after a hot day hiking. Superb location for Moel Siabod.
A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these.
Only improvement is the quality of the packed lunches, which were a little uninspiring for £12.50!”

“Room was small but had everything I needed and was clean and well maintained. Everyone I encountered on the staff was very helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good and, due to an efficient booking system was cooked to order, fast and not crowded. There were a couple of things about the bathroom, which was tiny, that I did not understand. The shower had no soap dish or anywhere to put the shampoo or body wash except on the floor.
