“I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. This was a very clean hotel and was comfortable as the shower was quickly poured in the hot water in the morning or at night. The room is small, but despite the low price, the room is clean and comes with soap and free water bottles, making it a comfortable stay. The hotel is not facing the road so it is quiet at night. “This a great place to stay that is in the Victorian era mode. I hope the basic decorum and vibe of the place never changes. It is a throw back to another era and all of the pictures from earlier times in Kolkata and the hotel and news clips are very interesting. “When my taxi arrived at 3 AM and looked at the hotel exterior, I laughed. It was too funny. But once I got into the hotel and my room, I was cool with everything. “I really loved the personalised service provided by the owner as it is a family owned hotel and they go above and beyond to make you feel like you're at home. “Hotel elegante in una zona molto frequentata e caotica. Nei dintorni non ci sono ristoranti occidentali, se non in park street (20 minuti a piedi nel caos o 20 minuti di taxi). L'hotel potrebbe provvedere ad un servizio ristorazione per la clientela internazionale. Non capisco a cosa serva un inserviente che stà tutto il giorno in ascensore a selezionare i piani per i clienti! Per il resto molto bene”

“Decent stay. Breakfast is not great but will do. You have to walk outside to get to the breakfast area so dont go out in your slippers, especially if its been raining. (when it rains, water collects in the outside area) Walls are on the thin side, so if you're a light sleeper, make sure you have ear plugs. Overall, its good enough given the price.”
