- This property enjoys a fantastic seafront location with uninterrupted views, in the seaside town of Westward Ho! in North Devon. The town’s beach boasts an impressive two-mile wide stretch of sand, where water sports enthusiasts rub shoulders with holidaying families. Visitors who feel inspired by the local surfers can sign up for a lesson at the beachfront surf academy, which also offers tuition in stand-up paddle boarding. Just a few miles from Westward Ho!, the fishing village of Appledore, situated on the estuary of the River Torridge is a relaxing place to spend an afternoon watching the fishing boats in the quay, browsing the shops, and sampling the local seafood offered in the pubs and bistro.
This property is situated on the ground floor of the exclusive Nautilus development, and offers contemporary accommodation for two people in stylish surroundings. The main living area in the apartment is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its comfortable sofa allowing guests to enjoy the sea views, and to relax in front of the TV with a DVD. There is a dining table to the rear of the room which seats four, next to which the kitchen area is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, and fridge. The freezer is kept in a nearby cupboard, whilst the washing machine can be found in the bathroom, where there is a walk-in shower (with small step) and WC. The property’s bedroom is a double room with a restful atmosphere, and plenty of storage space for clothes.
Outside, the property benefits from a seafront decked terrace which is accessed through patio doors from the lounge, and offers a great place to sit and enjoy the sound of waves crashing on the beach and watch the magnificent sunsets.
